I just realised something that could be VERY important
So, I was playing Festival of the Lost- which is amazing this year, I have to say- and I heard a line of dialogue. It’s about how people thought the K1 miners were the Headless Ones, but now Glint thinks Hive magic had something to do with it.
Then, I played a Nessus one, which theorised that they were reanimated Guardians.
Guys… Savathûn‘s Lucent Brood could be reanimated Guardians.
We could see our lost friends. Osiris, maybe, Cayde, Wei-Ning, hell even Toland… this could be HUGE

Nah she resurrects dead Hive as seen in the trailer. Dead human/exo/awoken cant just be turned into Hive and they're called Lucent Brood in the first place because they're all Hive which in itself is questionable.

The lore from the pages is a bunch of contradicting folklore, in the same way we have stories about cryptids irl, like mothman or Bigfoot.

Wanna know something spooky. Haunted Sectors are decorated with Hive ghosts. Not the type of ghosts that make guardians, but three eyed Halloween hive ghosts nonetheless. Foreshadowing? Probably not but it's a cute thought.

6 RespuestasThe lore is tricky. There is a lot of intentional misleading using the ‘people thought this was that’ trick. We know there are headless enemies tied to the Darkness, the Drifter encountered them.

3 RespuestasHe also said they were exos that removed their heads to survive the vex. I’m pretty sure I got some unique exo dialogue because he also said that the Vex’s tendency to make exos go mad made my achievements in the Vex Network all the more impressive.
