Disable the option to remove people from fireteams once a raid is finished.

It's not fun, or even cool to remove people from your fireteam who have put in a lot of time to help you complete a raid and contribute towards the LFG. If you do it with your own circle of friends and they understand it's a joke, then that's fine. But do not remove people from your fireteam who want the loot as much as you do. I've been in lfg groups where the leader kicks people out just for their own amusement. This isn't cool or funny, it's toxic.

  • After reading this post and some of the comments, this is single handedly one of the dumbest things I’ve ever heard. This has never been a problem for me and I guarantee that it is such a small problem that most people have never seen it either. You also contradict yourself in your post saying that if a group of friends kicks you it’s okay, but when it’s one guy it becomes a problem. And some of the comments are so stupid to actually agree with this saying things like the loot should just drop instead of having a chest, even though the chest drops the loot anyway which would change nothing. Y’all are just a bunch of causal idiots who are pissed at a very small majority of lfg groups.

    • I doubt someone would do that to a random without a reason. Usually if you show up knowing what to do, with weapons to get it done and don’t act awfully towards other people everyone is really nice. I have only ever seen people kicked for good reason. Honestly a simpler solution you can implement yourself today instead of asking bungie to be your parent would be having self awareness. If you think things are going bad and end up in a situation where you think that could happen you should leave before the final boss and join a different group. I’m really not trying to be mean that’s a genuine suggestion.

      • the Kick functionality should be disabled once a Encounter starts, after a wipe and inbetween encounters, the function can be used. this eliminates the possibility of about to kill the boss and then getting kicked before he dies and lose youre rewards but still allow teams to get rid of trolls, low levels or generally useless people on the team.

        • That's why I started using www.the100.io to find my fireteam. Been gaming with mainly the same core group of people for 6 years now.

There’s a reason why it’s still an option. People are -blam!-.

        • They need to get rid of chests and just have the rewards pop as soon as the boss dies.

            • This is an issue I’ve experienced as a full fireteam back when dsc was the current raid, the leader was only there to help as he’d done it 3 times already that week but when we killed the boss he went to orbit and took us all with him, rewarded loot still goes to post master but people were there to spend spoils at chest and were fuming lol. I’d suggest that in all raids as soon as the boss dies that it right away makes all 6 players as individuals in the area so that no one can kick and no one can pull everyone to orbit.

            • Bungie should just perma ban people who do this (as long as credible proof was provided from the player that got kicked).

            • I have ran hundreds of raids on d1 and d2 and I have never Witnessed this so it can’t be that big of a deal. I think it happened to you once and now your upset because you lost the rewards of a basic raid that can be ran at most in 30mins flat. So just don’t be upset and perhaps be better. Must have done something to deserve it.

              • I haven’t witnessed this happen personally, and I know it’s really -blam!- up, and by all means the people who do this deserve to be in hell and everything, but honestly if there was a YouTube video featuring a montage of people getting kicked as the boss is dying and then hearing their reactions I would very much enjoy watching it.

              • Absolutely, I think I’ve heard of something like this once where players just get kicked before they get their loot. I can’t believe people are like this.

              • There is really no way to fix it too be honest. People are just crappy. Until stuff like that ACTUAL gets looked at when reporting people it isn’t a fixable problem. MMO style games have been dealing with this forever now. All I can say is make sure you record gameplay and possibly chat that way you at least can have evidence that can warn others to avoid these players at all costs.

And perhaps you’re having a blast when there’s a Mythoclast in your postmaster and that scumbag is 777777 clears in and still no vex.😂 And then beeing able to send him a screenshot with your drop with a 🖕 attached. Who’s laughing now😂

              • Kind of impossible. Then you would lose the ability to kick someone for legit reasons.

                • It's just one of those things. It was obviously put in there for legitimate reasons, such as people going afk, griefing, and being inappropriate and annoying in voice chat/text. However, like most things, if there is a way to abuse or exploit something, people will do it. And although most humans are generally "good" people, there is a percentage that gets amusement out of being a jerk. Nothing is ever going to change that. Block them and move on.

                  • You can't force people to keep you in their fireteam. It's their 'room', they choose to accept you, they can boot you. Vet the people you play with. We don't want Bungie or any devs to invoke control over our interactions than they do now.

                    • I have been in this before and it’s really messed up that a lot of people just lack compassion in this community to defend stuff like this or even say “it happens move on” I will usually try to get my own raid group and help others because I know how worthless some players are in this community.
