Behemoth needs a full gameplay rework in PvE, it's probably the worst sub class in PvE at all levels of content.
90% of that is due to the identity of being a 'shatter specialist'. Go shatter a champion in a GM, I -blam!- dare you.
-
3 changes are all that are needed I feel to bring behemoth up to being a competitive PvE class. 1. Change glacial harvest to spawn shards on shattering frozen combatants and crystals. 2. Give diamond lance a charged throw functionality that allows it to shatter crystals and combatants(radius would be equal to shatter dive which I feel is a fair radius) 3. Remove diamond lances spawn cooldown in PvE if not possible reduce to 2 seconds.( if you can have infinite bleak watchers out why not Lances that give tactical choices to the entire team.)

2 RespuestasWith the exception of bleak watchers, I feel like stasis in general is ment for low end pve since all the abilities are over kill vs minions but suck vs majors and bosses.
-
1 RespuestaBehemoth was just never that good in PvE from the beginning especially considering how much better bottom sunbreaker and middle sentinel are.
-
1 Respuestayou're using behemoth wrong if you're trying to shatter a champion... 🤦♂️
-
1 RespuestaThis subclass had the same effect as middle tree arc warlock where they said they nerfed it so you all just IMMEDIATELY assumed it was terrible and never used it again. Behemoth is still great in pve but I guess it’s easier to blindly follow the opinion of your favorite streamers instead of actually using it yourself.
-
1 RespuestaOr hear me out dont use stasis titan for gm use a bubble or muddle tree void with the gauntlets
-
Yup. Very mediocre roaming Terrible major/boss damage dps Terrible neutral game Not saying go back to where it was broken in pvp, but it Needs a total rework.

5 RespuestasHonestly, all three classes need their stasis subclasses fully reworked. None of them actually really lean into their jobs within stasis. Bungo themselves said Hunters were for slowing, Titans were for Crystals, and Warlocks were for freezing. That being said, Hunter is really freaking good at doing everything, meanwhile Titans and Warlocks tend to struggle in their own categories in a few different ways. Here are some ideas that I posted elsewhere: Hunter: Silence puts up a very large slow field that will slow into a freeze rather than instafreezing, and squall would possibly stay in the slow field’s radius. I also think it should be doing more damage in PVE, red bars shouldn’t take that long for a super to kill. Imagine if Nova Bomb’s shitty vortex could move. It would be wacky. So if the Squall is gonna move, limit it (I also understand that it doesn’t have an initial damage burst like NB). I’d also say change some aspects to really emphasize slowing. Like maybe shatterdive wouldn’t shatter anything, but rather put out a slow-wave in a cone in front of you. Perhaps it could also let the Hunter gain a movement speed buff for slowing (or killing slowed enemies) only by the dive. I’d also remove the Extra stasis crystals from the touch of winter and rather have the grenades generate slowing field around their paths/AoE. No reason Hunter’s should have proficiency with crystals over Titans. More slow. Titan: Glacial Quake Crystals should shatter themselves after a short amount of time and have larger AoE’s, and slide should be easier to get into while in the super. Idk if it’s a bug but while using it, I can’t seem to slide out of a melee which makes it super hard to shatter crystals in the first place. Maybe make it possible to cancel out of the melee (post hit) into a slide if on the floor. Diamond Lance should create a crystal at the point of impact rather than just being a freeze. It could create a larger crystal if something is killed by the Lance too! The Harvest ability should spawn more crystals given that they can only be used from crystals, or the crystals given should grant a bit more energy to compensate. Cryclasm should stick to only shattering crystals but perhaps gain a bit of resilience for each Crystal shattered by it. I’d also honestly say the Crystal melee should just straight up be the behemoths melee. Or maybe rework the behemoth melee to spawn a couple crystals if you are going along the ground. More crystals. Warlock: Winter’s Wrath is pretty awful in PVE and only slightly better with iceflare bolts. Either have it create large cone-waves of freezing in front of you, or let the bolts have a much larger AoE. It’s so bad at freezing and uses so much energy for the tiny little bursts, it’s laughable. Each of the four bolts should also have have their own autonomy. It would even be better is it short one large projectile at a time. Meanwhile GQ freezes on cast and then freezes a city block with one smash, and SS just slows then freezes anything passing through it. I hate iceflare because you’re just sitting there waiting to freeze the next thing, meanwhile in any other class or even subclass you’d already have the next guy and a whole pack of others dead. I’d say change iceflare bolts to something that functions similarly to the stasis mines from solstice. That was the only time I’ve ever felt actually powerful as a Shadebinder in PVE. Do something with the melee, it’s so slow that a thrall moving slightly to the left causes it to miss. Either speed it up or rework it entirely. I get it’s an instant freeze, but the AoE of the freeze is small. It’s pretty bad rn and doesn’t even hold a Calder before the day 9 (I think) nerfs. Even after it was slightly buffed it ain’t that great. Also, remove the limit to crystals created. Hunters don’t have a limit and neither do Titans. Just have it create one per enemy frozen even if they’re large. Also, I understand the turret is popular, but I’d much prefer it to shoot out one medium sized freezing bolt every few seconds. Warlocks shouldn’t have slowing advantages over Hunters. Warlocks also should have a shatter/movement ability. Since I think shatterdive should only slow targets, the warlocks should only shatter already frozen targets (not crystals). It could shatter frozen targets, but provide extra ability regen/energy for each enemy shattered. I’d imagine it to she similar to Icarus dash, but holding the staff like a true ice Wizard lol. More freezing. P.S: These are just my opinions and you don’t have to agree with me, and I’m not saying I’m right. Y’all are allowed your own opinions on how things should be, this is just my take given what Bungie said about the classes before BL launched. Thanks for reading and I hope you have an amazing day! 💙💙

Whole subclass is mega ass now. It’s useless.
-
2 RespuestasBehemoth Titan is just garbage all around. Whoever works on Titans need to be fired they are as useless as the subclass
-
Bungie went full -blam!- and neutered the melee potential into the ground. And that is me talking BEFORE I mention the everlasting and irritating melee hit registration bug.
-
Editado por Ice Bear Mike: 10/3/2021 9:05:48 PMBehemoth melee is complete garbage because of how much they nerfed the speed
-
Behemoth Super: Avalanche, bombard the area around you with light damaging ice meteorites, re-activate to expend remaining timer on a single meteor that has damage scaled to remaining time Melee: icefall shield, inflict freeze on targets , minions are picked up and are wielded as frozen body shields until their health runs out. Grenade same as all. And work all the bonus shards to focus on maintaining that shield adding meteorites to the dusk field grenade area etc..
-
I miss my behemoth titan but it is what it is. They were op in pvp and they got fixed before they did the separate fixes for pvp and pve. Maybe next season we will see a comeback.
-
Hate the delay between heavy and light attack in the super, makes no sense.
-
I wouldn't mind 100% of Behemoth going back to the drawing board at this point. I never see it in PVP any more and I find them doing more harm than good in PVE. Hunters and warlocks are both great at crowd control all the way up to GM, but not titans their going to leave their damn stasis crystals all over the damn place and get as in your way as much as possible.
-
The only thing about stasis I like is the Warlock turrets. The dang crystal spam constantly blocking my path or my shots is a nuisance
-
Yeah all the crystals they generate I find more annoying than helpful.
-
You need to experiment more. Bosses of any kind, you can't just walk up to. If you layer crystals on both sides of them then punch at the end, they'll drop so fast. Especially if you have the extra damage fragment. Don't forget, crystals they break hurt them.
-
you dare me ? i did it so many times its so fun XD. ive been farming omnigul gm while using a shatter build, and it was so damn fun and effective, its not because you dont really make builds around it that its a bad subclass X)
-
Editado por Astrosa: 10/3/2021 12:12:42 AMJust makes crystals and slide into them You could 100% super a champion with it, but that’s stupid
could still use buff tho
-
Idk behemoth helped me clear some GMs last season. It has a good way of benefiting from certain aspects and fragments.
-
The key to making them good is buffing Crystals, (I cannot stress enough how this should be in PVE. ONLY.) tweaking the way we shatter them, (a Tankier, defense-oriented class should NOT have abilities that require you to sprint, and therefore encourage aping. Make us punch the ground or something else that can be done while stationary) and by giving us more fragment slots or at least a way to GET more fragment slots (Diamond Lance having just one isn’t justifiable by either PvE OR PvP standards, and having the only shatter tool the subclass that is SUPPOSED to be focused around shattering only have one fragment doesn’t exactly help it in PvE). Another change that would certainly help is allowing Rime to refill (not stack, refill) the overshield granted by Icefall Mantle, and allowing it to work in your super. (again, ONLY IN PVE. We don’t need yet another broken Titan roaming super. Striker made us look bad enough.) All these changes put together would make the Behemoth Subclass an absolute tank that controls the battlefield with a multitude of crystals that are both cover for allies and a hazard for its enemies. It might even be a viable option for GM’s, which would be great since I’m honestly tired of having to choose between only Banner Shield and Thundercrash as my options.
