They are just some of the comments I get in Trials, Crucible and Raids. I apologise to all the teams I’ve let down. I know I’m not that good when it comes to the faster moving and shooting aspects of this great game. I do really try hard. But at 64 years old my eye sight is starting to go especially with only one eye too. I have only one thumb so controlling the controller is difficult too. The other thing and most important at least I think is my memory seems to be going a bit too so forget to use my super or switch weapon fast enough to grab that kill. I know I’ll not get much better at the game, not at my age at least but I really enjoy playing with you guys. I’m not looking for sympathy guys. I know there’s worse people out there than me. I would like however for some not to post some hurtful comments after the game. I fell bad enough when I let you down. Take care my friends.

1 RespuestaHello Sir I recommend you start to play solo and disable all kind of communication with other teammates, Im guessing you are on console and that way you also need to lockdown all incoming communication so that you dont get messages from people you don't know. I have been playing a lot o MOBA games on console for many years now and the only way to survive all the toxicity is for it to not get room and flourish if you know what I mean, so I am completely locked down on my console. So for you if you lock down ways to communicate with you you won't get hurt, hope this helps. :)

1 RespuestaI would take the suggestion of locking your comms down. Sadly ageism is a real thing, everyone believes they will be awesome forever. Toxicity comes from people who have made their gaming accomplishments their whole identity. I get stomped in PvP quite a bit, and receive hate mail even in instances where they were the winning team. I chalk it up to dissatisfaction in their real life and move on. Don’t let those people deter you from playing.

1 RespuestaWell, you’re a 64-year-old playing a hyper-competitive PvP mode where the majority of players are between 16-40 years old with much faster reaction times and perception of what’s happening. Not really sure why you’re expecting to do well in that kind of environment. It’s why you don’t see 40+ year-olds competing against 16-20 year-olds in the Olympics.

If you cant muster the vision and reflexes to play a game on the couch, not because you're bad at it, but because of vision and reflexes and missing appendages, I feel like your drivers license should be revoked too. I mean, if you're constantly "unable to react quickly or see or remember to do this or that" then you shouldn't be allowed to be on the road, in a 5000lb machine, that lack of reflexes or vision or remembering to stop at the red light could LITERALLY end lives lol. PS. I see through your weak attempt at manipulation here. 1 RespuestaHonestly, idk what you play on but on Playstation there's an option to where only your friends can message you, I'm pretty sure Xbox has the same thing and there's probably something like that for steam, I'd recommend that because there are some trash individuals who play this game and they get off on letting others know how good they are.

People say dumb things on the internet because they have an inferiority complex irl and need to compensate, and the internet provides a safe space for them. Honestly we have such a diverse community and also have some of the biggest trash bags within. Keep your chin up and do your thang. Lord knows being a cheesy pvp sweat is all they got. Some even go as far as cheating to win. Its a game. Have your fun.

I get constant hatemail in comp for being unbroken, as you're expected to get 87 defeats a game, just send them back a little ❤️ just to infuriate them then block them, so satisfying.

I hate it when I see posts like this. Even if this is a lie (which I doubt) this is a real problem, and it can’t be easily solved. It’s usually a them problem though, I wouldn’t take it personally. Stay strong guardian.

I once had a guy message me during Gambit of all things. He was pissed because I had 14 motes and was trying to pick up a 15th before sending it, and he wanted the Prime to come in already. I can see both sides of the logic there, but I mean he went OFF on me, calling me every curse word in the book. I simply replied "-blam!- off." Next thing I know I got banned by xbox for 24 hours because he reported [i]my[/i] vulgar language. Some idiots take gaming way too seriously.
