Trial labs Changes
Absolutely AWFUL. Bungie how the hell did this get greenlit for labs. You forced us all to play it and its terrible. IT PROMOTES CAMPING with Stag and Citan's Ramparts! This isn't trials this is Camping for noobs. After my first flawless I'm not playing this -blam!- for the rest of the weekend. Bungie you -blam!- up big time with this I hate it. I'm fine with the special ammo change but this is also stupid
If this change was to see if it helps casual players, it doesn't. If they face top tier players or even other teams with stag or Citan's. This is the opposite of what trials should be. The map wormhaven shouldn't be a map because its too big and the middle flag only benefits titans and warlocks especially because of the cover. If anything why wasn't the flag at B or in front of the wall at Heavy????? Those spots are way more open and you have a greater risk since its so exposed. No capture flag should have cover to hide behind while capturing!
The change to Special I enjoy but I also hate.1 It promotes more primary gunplay. 2 when you get revived and have no ammo for your special it means your forced to play with your primary now but you're punished for not having any special to use against the other team now when they are pushing you immediately after reviving. I like the Current change to special more than labs change. Labs is entirely bad all around with one of the worst maps that promotes camping. And thanks to your decision it now official.
I also dislike how you forced everyone to play Labs instead of keeping it on the side and i can guarantee your player base will dramatically drop because of the trash you forced on all of us that came out this weekend. You only did one thing right this weekend and that's not making the Messenger the adept weapon this weekend.

LOUD WORDS!!!! Are people actually typing -blam!- or is that bungie changing “potty” language? Either way it’s adorable. This is my kind of thread, you’ve got complaining from people who love the game as I do and people threatening to uninstall if changes aren’t made to the changes… I haven’t jumped into trials yet, I’m reading all of this from the bathroom while I’m loading in. This is either going to be the best Trials weekend yet or I’m going to need my “throwing controller”… Let you little light shine guardians.

Game mode settings don’t bother me much. Just the general pvp imbalances and inconsistencies.

1 RespuestaThis game mode (as currently constructed) is so FREAKING STUPID… You win the round… and you’re immediately punished as the flag point is the opposing team respawn area (every single time, except when there is a tie). CAMPFEST almost every match… It would rather be more logical and fair if the flag point was in the middle of the map regardless who wins or loses the previous round. Also… Bungie… Instead of spending so much time on inventing a square wheel how about you could give us a NEW WELL DESIGNED MAP FOR TRIALS…

1 RespuestaI also can't understand how this ever made it through play testing. I win a 1v2 and could have gotten the 3rd guy but... oh, he capped the zone in the meantime. Yeah, feels really good (heavy sarcasm). The whole game mode is an unbearable camp-fest that punishes you even harder for being a man down than elim already does on its own. You can't split a 2v3 or 1v3 into several 2v1 or 1v1... thanks to the zone you do not have the time for that but need to run in (and most likely die) or the enemy just wins by default. When they first announced it, they said the zone would spawn randomly. What is random about a zone sitting there from the beginning of the round on one of the control zones or the comp cap point? Also you know where it will be based on who won the last round. That is not random but another hand holding / catch up mechanic that should not be there in the 1st place. There is literally nothing random to that zone. I played trials all weekend the 1st weekend and even the 2nd one (Side note on that: I chose to stay out of the flawless pool and the games were becoming rediculously easy towards the end of the weekend... so much so I wondered if they will end up just handing out the adept weapon at the post master for logging in... since so many people seem to think they deserve to go flawless even when they are not willing to put the effort in.) But at least the previous two weekends were still fun to play. This shitshow of a trials mockery certainly is not. It is frustrating and I do not enjoy it at all. I played for a couple of hours, with different people and everyone came to the same conclusion: This is bs... not going to play this for the rest of the weekend. I'm done. See you in a fortnight - or not if there is some new bs to "improve" the game for Jonny Nothumbs.

Zones should be equally accessible by either team for this to migrate combat such as, varying middle zones. Also why is their now zone capture decay when nobody is present? Please if you are going to test game modes dont force people to have to play them have two trials modes 1 Classic and 1 Player Test Build.

I agree completely. Although the map might also make it worse, but when I originally saw the changes in the twab I thought the capture zones would be at random positions and not in your spawn if you lost a round. I think this change is only to fix the 5-0 stomps but makes the game much less fun to play because even if both teams are at an equal skill level, each round 1 team will be at a disadvantage and probably lose because of it and then it swaps for the other team and they lose.

They added 2x rep for strikes but NF was Corrupted. Did the same for trials and added a bad mode. smh

Worked great for me tbh, got my first flawless and didn't even have to deal with that many shotgun trash or cheesy stuff.

I think trying different modes is a good idea, admittedly some will not work and some will, and that's life. I had a couple of games last night and it was OK, I'd rather try something different than it be the same week in week out.

I don't think it's that bad. But...... The spawn point after you get lucky and win a round can be cheesed though as can see people in the lead just throwing a round in the bag so they can get closer to close the show. Also just seeing bubbles / rifts etc to use and attack becoming very boring very quickly. Map is ok and not every round is 5-0 which is an improvement over last weeks mess.

Don’t forget that if you’re up big you can just jump off the map to force the flag in your corner for the easy cheese. Game mode is a joke

2 RespuestasDisagree. It promotes pushing is what it does. Quicker rounds. No more waiting 60 seconds before someone makes a move. And it gives the team getting stomped a chance by letting them defend a zone. Fantastic.

9 RespuestasI don’t understand how people have such a hard time. I played trials last night Solo queue went flawless and also carried two lighthouse virgins there 1st Ever flawless. They invited me on my 4th game and teamed up there after. I completed the flawless seal 😁 and helped two guardians 😃 When you find a decent team just team up. The guys I ran with where both 0.8 kds. So it’s possible for everyone just gotta keep at it. 👍🏻
