Absolutely AWFUL. Bungie how the hell did this get greenlit for labs. You forced us all to play it and its terrible. IT PROMOTES CAMPING with Stag and Citan's Ramparts! This isn't trials this is Camping for noobs. After my first flawless I'm not playing this -blam!- for the rest of the weekend. Bungie you -blam!- up big time with this I hate it. I'm fine with the special ammo change but this is also stupid
If this change was to see if it helps casual players, it doesn't. If they face top tier players or even other teams with stag or Citan's. This is the opposite of what trials should be. The map wormhaven shouldn't be a map because its too big and the middle flag only benefits titans and warlocks especially because of the cover. If anything why wasn't the flag at B or in front of the wall at Heavy????? Those spots are way more open and you have a greater risk since its so exposed. No capture flag should have cover to hide behind while capturing!
The change to Special I enjoy but I also hate.1 It promotes more primary gunplay. 2 when you get revived and have no ammo for your special it means your forced to play with your primary now but you're punished for not having any special to use against the other team now when they are pushing you immediately after reviving. I like the Current change to special more than labs change. Labs is entirely bad all around with one of the worst maps that promotes camping. And thanks to your decision it now official.
I also dislike how you forced everyone to play Labs instead of keeping it on the side and i can guarantee your player base will dramatically drop because of the trash you forced on all of us that came out this weekend. You only did one thing right this weekend and that's not making the Messenger the adept weapon this weekend.
Voice your opinions on this post to bungie please I want them to see their mistake
oh and bungie this is constructive from someone that loves your game ;)

1 RespuestaThis capture the zone crap is all to prevent 5-0s.

4 RespuestasAdd an objective to Trials and everyone loses their minds! It needs fine tuning to be sure, but this is a good start. The zone should move in between a few places around the middle of the map, not to one extreme and the other. It shouldn’t be affected by score, it should just be centrally located. An objective is a good thing. Having it be a capture point is a good thing to have once in awhile. It shouldn’t be the only new idea brought to Trials game modes. Simple elimination is boring. So change it up and refine the game modes before Witch Queen. Use this down time to get Trials into a really good place. This week, the capture point idea is good, but poorly executed. Refine it.

I think it should probably have the timer extended before the cap zone activation. And it baffles me that you can be 1-3 and the next round the zone will move to enemies spawn.
-
I am bad and I know it. For each win last week I had 3 losses. But this one is outrageous. I lost 16 games in a row. 15! And in the 16th one there was a guy that single handedly wiped our whole team twice (without ults even). I don't know, but this balancing has become worse. P.S. I'm not going for flawless, and that's not about crying. Just that I can't do anything vs these guys while in regular Crucible I get KD 2+ this week

1 RespuestaEditado por Wes: 9/25/2021 5:59:28 PMI'm not a fan of it at all. A LOT of issues. 1. If you're down 0-4 and win a round to make it 1-4, the team with 4 wins gets the advantage spawn. Not good design. Comebacks are really limited. 2. If you're the last one alive say in a 1v2 or 1v3, you can't play smart and try and win the round. You're now against the clock. Again, comebacks are limited. 3. You HAVE to play around the zone. Which means if a team is say three bottom tree strikers with Chaperone, you are faced with issues. You can sit in spawn and try and teamshot when you get the zone spawn, but the moment you win a round they get the spawn, which forces you to play their game and play to their strengths. That's not okay. Counterplay is also limited by this mode, and it wasn't last week.

Why should you respawn with special ammo if you die? I think the change is good. You don't see so many infinite ammo shotgunners or snipers.
-
I find it a bit ironic that they made the double reputation gain during this experiment. Almost as if they knew it wouldnt be recieved well so they would need something to incentivize people to play. They should have had this mode available at reset this week instead of normal elimination and if it went well then make it the trials mode for the weekend

1 RespuestaSee honestly I thought it played just fine, there is definitely tuning needed done, but this is definitely to stop people from just camping out super generation. You say its "camping" and "isnt real trials" but seeing as how I've played since d1 I fail to see any difference. In fact it actually stops people from sitting in spawn the whole time trying to charge super, since the players have to cover zone or their camping does nothing. Honestly the mode played really really well. Almost every card I played was a completely different experience, different weapons, different angles of engagement, it felt so much less stale, plus there were tactical decisions to make about positioning, whether to give up map control to wait for cap, or to push and cover angles to leave one guy to secure. If you played the mode put like it was supposed to be played, forcing people into engagements, and making sure the game wasnt just a blow out of cheesing 100 int and time wasting posturing until supers were ready. Honestly I thought it was awesome, had like a 75% win rate, and went flawless 4 times. I dont see an issue at all

2 RespuestasEditado por Hatter: 9/25/2021 4:00:11 PMThis entitled lot..... This isn't a change to help casual players. This is them testing out a new mode. Special ammo and promoting primary gungame is a good thing. While I see your point on lab testing, this could also be a test. I do see why they did it though to compare it to the last two weekends. For solo queue they probably will split it up since that is the crux Finally, you lot who seem to not have thumbs. Throw a grenade. Okay the objective. Get a pick. Push. Profit. You're free to not like the mode, but if you're bad, no mode will help you. If you're bad, nothing will save you.

I absolutely LOVE the new MODE
-
The only thing I've still mad at is the Exile gear is still not earnable.
-
I really enjoyed the mode. It made the opponents very predictable. I prefer it to normal elimination
-
Um, actually this is literally contrary to literally every opinion I’ve read.

1 RespuestaIt doesn't help that this is a terrible map. And it wouldn't be nearly as bad if the point didn't go to a favorable spot. It should have moved between mid top, mid inside, and mid outside.
-
But people camp with stag regardless, my g. People using the cheesiest stuff in trials is nothing new, my dude. Have you ever asked yourself, "why do people play like this?"
-
LMAO @ forced, nah my dude Trials is a choice, PvP is a choice, turning the game on is a choice.
forced
Nobody forced you to do anything, mate.

Editado por Saski Kojiro: 9/26/2021 2:49:37 PMIt's as bad as it was before the changes

Hopefully Bungie takes these posts with a grain of salt. They probably just say. Ok that didn’t work. What is the feedback. I wish they would focus on the match making thing they are working on first and then try new modes. I feel like focusing on both just frustrates everyone. If they’re going to focus on labs now; they should of made it, it’s own thing with less gear and maybe a unique shader or emblem. Testing match making and new mode just seems to be too much for the community
-
The zone is just easy mode

13 RespuestasI like to try Trials but i hate letting my teammates down as im slow and old when it comes going against alot better and younger players

It’s great.

1 RespuestaHonestly I didn’t think I’d like it either, but you just have to figure out the angles to take to get to the far zone. We’ve helped like 5 people go flawless for the first time ever and 1 of our friends go. Pretty good start to the weekend IMO, it’s not terrible. I’m not saying you’re wrong, just saying not everyone hates it.
-
Yeah, don’t know why they didn’t make it optional. Honestly didn’t think trials needed to be changed when it comes to game type. It’s IB that needs a refresh.
-
Haven't tried yet this weekend. Had no time. But whatever changes it can't be as toxic and flawed as quick play control, the sweatiest of all sweat modes. Worst matchmaking of all. With trials at least I know what to expect.
