Flawless pool would feel A LOT better if you still got Adepts for wins even after your ticket gets a loss. If I’m in a flawless pool for going flawless I should be in a bigger reward pool too.
Reward the sweaty matches and more players will play the flawless pool.

6 RespuestasEditado por Infamous067: 9/19/2021 5:20:00 PMThis is exactly what Ive been saying, I went flawless and I hate having to reset my card to start all over again just because I got one loss. Being able to have a chance at adept loot after going flawless even after a loss needs to be a thing. It will keep top tier players from stomping out the lower skill ones. It will also stop the exploit from the weak minded individuals that go around reseting their cards after 6 wins. I WANT to stay in my 7th win as a flawless player, I just see no real reason to stay there after just one loss. This forces me to now reset my card and make everyone miserable

This or just remove flawless pool all together. I understand wanting it to be more accessible, but they said that the lighthouse still isn’t for everyone

57 RespuestasLast week was fine. Record breaking numbers, massive amounts of positive feedback from 90% of the player base. You don't fundamentally change things after a weekend like that. Nope nope nope.
-
The one tweak needed is to remove it completely.
-
to fix flawless pool make it so u can stay in first pool once on each character if u go flawless on all 3 then go to flawless pool
-
Exactly this. Eventually the flawless pool will become less sweaty too with the average players wanting to try get better roll adepts and golf balls etc.

1 RespuestaHot take: sacrificing the vocal minority who are upset about the flawless pool in favor of accessibility is a smart move. Outside of the hot take, I like how OP thinks (or co-opts what twitter has already said). If you get over the hump and you are matchmaking the other sweats exclusively then you should get sweaty rewards. Seems reasonable.

I concur. Make the harder pool worth the grind and most of the complaints will go away. Go flawless twice? Even bigger rewards. Otherwise I am liking these new trials changes. Being able to solo queue and win some games is amazing.

I like being able to trade in a broken but seven win card for an adept, but as another user pointed out, the resource requirements need to chill out considerably.

4 RespuestasHow about you get a guaranteed adept after each win and loss.

67 RespuestasEditado por WulfPak666: 9/19/2021 5:48:37 PMHow about we just do away from "Flawless" altogether? There is no prestige in it and honestly there never was. The sandbox is a mess, the weapons, aim assist, lag, bullet magnetism, ability spam all of it ridiculous. Not to mention all the comection issues, error codes, cheaters and all the console nonsense with xim, cronos max, Ddos and whatnot too. Get 7 wins you get an adept no matter how much you lose. If you can get 7-0, it's free. If you go 7-1, 7-20, 7-9999 make it mad expensive but you still get it. All the gymnastics people go through to avoid playing sweaty matches is ridiculous as is Bungie's many attempts to "fix" it. Clearly Bungie WANTS more casuals to go flawless and get the loot and with that being their mind set, how the heck can people still think Trials is prestigious? Heck, you got people backing out of matchmaking if the freakin' player counter goes up too fast... give me a break, bro. Sweaty players are resetting at 6 wins to avoid the Flawless matchmaking, farming low cards or throwing games to make the matchmaking think they suck. It's all bonkers. Nothing about that is "Prestigious". You want to fix Trials, be able to buy adepts outright after completing your card no matter how much you lose. Some players can cash out in an hour and others could take all week. Simple.

Glad others feel the same way. This was the initial reason back at the beginning Of d2 why I stopped playing trials of the nine (failed trials rebrand) after going flawless a few times. Yeah sure the flawless armor was a different shade but anyone could get the weapons and armor eventually with out even needing to go flawless. The d1 formula was perfect and I dont like how now it’s less special tbh
-
Exactly. If your card is still flawless it should be 100% guaranteed you get the adepts drop on a win. If your card has a loss on it go down to 75 or 80% on a win and 25 to 35% on a loss. It also felt like they nerfed the drop rate of master work materials. Those should also be dropping at a similar rate.

4 RespuestasSo long as you have seven wins, even on a broken ticket, you can trade it in for another adept. Winner.
-
3 RespuestasHow about keep a leaderboard of who’s gone flawless the most times and whoever’s leading at the end of the weekend gets an emblem/ custom shader/ special armour set?
-
Or we just don’t have a flawless pool to begin with
-
Will always say it… a Flawless pool or any SBMM without incentive for the better players will never work

2 RespuestasNo. And you actually highlight part of the problem with the system without even knowing it. This new system allows players to get their first flawless each week relatively easily, especially with a team of 3 that all have not gone flawless. After that, it becomes drastically more difficult. This means that for many players, they will only try for their first flawless, then stop playing the game mode that weekend, which lowers the player-base in Trials, which leads to sweatier games. Your suggestion to give out more Adept weapons after losing is laughable as it is no longer being on a Flawless card. You think this is a good idea because Bungie has started to dilute the meaning of Adept gear making players think it should be easily attainable for all players. The fix to the problem is to get rid of the Flawless pool and go back to having a card based system. Not everyone needs to go Flawless, just like not every player needs to do GM Nightfalls or Master VOG. Having a card based system is not only fair, but also helps with the 5-0 stomps on the 7th win game that Bungie wants to address. The only change they need to make compared to the old system is to have the card based system only trigger if the card is still Flawless, that way you get players on their 7th win game playing others on their 7th win game. If you wanted to create a Flawless Pool for those continuing past 7 wins on the Flawless Card, I'd have no issue with that as there is additional Flawless loot you can obtain, but to keep a player in that pool for the entire weekend is ridiculous.
-
I doubt that would change the paid carries, etc. They just want easy runs. The main issue with PVP is making the system geared towards the player base vs keeping the professionals happy.
-
-
Giving more to the already wealthy will only make more peoples leave which will make every game as sweaty as the flawless matchmaking
-
I upvoted this at first, but then as I thought about it I disagreed. Once you go flawless, you can buy repeat adepts from Saint. Just reduce their cost or have alternate play based costs like spoils. That would make the endgame PvP experience a lot more in line with the endgame PvE. I'm not saying throw you out in the cold, I agree there's currently no real incentive to want to go flawless early, I'm just saying that endgame PvE has always been one good return for your first run and (more recently) then grinding out spoils if you want more chances at the roll you want. Why should endgame PvP be that much different?

Editado por neonsox42: 9/20/2021 2:58:11 PMI wouldn’t make it that generous but make any weapon drop at that point a 25% chance to be an adept and you’re good

Editado por Krablord: 9/20/2021 2:26:32 PMThey need to get loot bonus for all flawless mm participants, so every win after that lighthouse feels rewarding (even extra visits to lighthouse hold something good, not extra shayura with bad roll). Edit: scarab emblem perhaps?
