Anyone had the new ARs drop yet?
Hello all! I was wondering what the new ARs are like .... I know it's only early in the season, I am an AR crazy Titan who loves em? Any first insights to Chrysura Melo, Scathelocke & Sorrow's Verse? I'm also wondering how they are obtained. Cheers!

Other is seasonal and can come from Umbrals easily.

1 RespuestaThe seasonal one you can easily get from umbral engrams, I dont like it feels like bottom of the barrel of 360rpm. Scathelock on the other hand AMAZING. Easily recieved from Banshee with weapon parts.

1 RespuestaMe like. Run the seasonal event. All my seasonal gear so far has either come from drops from those activities (chests) or from focusing engrams. Which needs the currency. Chrysura Melo is like a 360 rpm version of the old Black Armory AR (the only weapon that I missed when Sunsetting hit). It is very stable, accurate...and it can roll with dragonfly. Which makes it a very useful PVE weapon. Scathelock is an 600 rpm AR from Y1 of D2. Unless they've altered it, its also a keeper. It tends to be a PVP favorite (died to one already in Crucible)....but can do good work in PVE with the right perks. Can't comment on Sorrow's Verse.

12 RespuestasThe new seasonal loot.... i love the looks its beautiful and chrysura melo has grown to be my favourite and my replacement for ringing nail (still got it but eh), the corsair armor looks great too.

3 RespuestasGot a chrysura Melo with outlaw multi-kill clip and I'm loving it, after some testing it seems like you actually don't want to run a auto rifle targeting mod as it actually makes the gun kick more

3 RespuestasHad a nice one with hammer forged/steady/outlaw/dragonfly. Feels great to shoot but the Range suuuuucks with barrels. I have 90 range stat and drop off starts at only 30m. I have 600’s that shoot to 35/37m. Very disappointing for a high impact. For reference a 14 zoom 180 hand cannon with a 60 range stat outranges a high impact auto with 90 range stat and 16 zoom.

4 RespuestasI got a scathelock that is pretty strong, Extended barrel Tac mag (best of 2 average options ) Tunnel vision Rampage Range MW The range feels good.

1 RespuestaI actually really like the new seasonal AR. Slow firing, feels really stable. Mine dropped with a range MW and dynamic sway reduction and frenzy. I’ve been having fun with it. Could use a damage boost IMO. Doesn’t seem to do as much damage as other AR of other archetypes, but maybe I’m crazy. Looks cool too.
