Bungie you need to really focus on what the community pain points are which seems to be mostly the PVP in the game.
1. Nobody complained about warmind cells they do not prock all of the time and can help for the regular pve players who are not soloing grands masters like esoterik
2. Nobody complained about ursa, phonenix, or any of the other exotics that can help you get your super back a lil quicker. How about fix the dog shit charge rate of your super to begin with so players would not want to use exotics to get your super back.
3. Elemental wells still suck the new buff doesnt really change that.
So whats next now to many people using grenade launchers with blinding grenades? or to many people now using Chest of Alpalupi so lets nerf that in the ground to right? or maybe firefly does to much damage on trash adds to lets nerf the radius of firefly or outlaw reloads to fast so lets nerf it again. How about if the shit is not broke dont fix it.

6 RespuestasHere's an idea, if they only balanced things in pve vased on complaints from the community we would never see nerfs at all, only buffs. So basically, you're repeating the same tired "buff dont nerf" mentality but with extra steps. And in theory, that sounds great, in practice, when they eventually balance the enemies or encounters to make up for how strong we get as a result the game as a whole becomes a lot less fun. Toning down outliers at the top as well as lifting up outliers at the bottom is a necessity for a healthy sandbox.

2 RespuestasThey didn't need to be nerfed because of the community complaining. They needed to be nerfed, because AS BUNGIE SAID IN THE TWAB, they were BUILT to be overpowered because they were meant to be be temporary
-
They will be still nerfing things in 2028
-
2 RespuestasCome on warmind cells kinda made the game boring, I’m glad I won’t be forced to use them all the time
-
3 RespuestasJust want to point out, when the community seems something as “required” to complete a nightfall, raid or what not then bungie has a problem with it. I understand why the balance it in PvE so one of those does not restrict you to playing with a certain exotic and a certain tree. For example I love my current rocket launcher (Royal Chase) but often times I am required to run anarchy. I am one of those poor dudes who doesn’t have anarchy yet (nor will I get it in time). The point being is there are many people who aren’t blessed with RNG or time to acquire some of these weapons or pieces of armor. So if you are trying to join a team I only to be kicked because you don’t have certain gear or are a certain class is why balancing patches like this take place.
-
I’m complaining about them. They trivialise endgame content. I hope they go after stasis turrets next. Makes stuff too easy!
-
5 RespuestasDoes anyone even use ursa?
-
Don't they always list like three things that they consider when they make changes? Numbers, whining... and I can't remember the other one. Anywho, whining should not be the only thing they take into account when it comes to making changes.
-
High tier pve/pvp players cause these nerfs. They make a video about it and how good something is and then bungie looks at the data and confirms. Nerf.
-
They only cherry pick the topics of Interest that needs addressing the Rest they just ignore
-
2 RespuestasIt’s a way to sell you power when Witch Queen comes out. That’s all.
-
24 RespuestasWe didnt need to complain in PVE for them to nerf things The warmind cell mods were probably made with sunsetting in mind, thats why it was so strong. So when they retired it, they would nerf it. Dont act like warmind cells werent strong. The super regen exotics, could get 70% to 75% of their super back, and that is extremely powerful. Hell, if you have 2 ursa titans, you can have infinite supers. If shards of galanor is capped at 50%, why the others shouldnt?
-
1 RespuestaBeen saying pve has had too many absolutely busted things for far too long We need to bring the challenge back to pve.. This is a step in the right direction
-
2 Respuestasdont understand why people think that pve should be immune to balance, when you have outliers like these it is good that they are nerfed to keep the experience diverse and engaging. obviously no one is going to complain about how good something is in pve so it is up to bungie to isolate an issue and take care of it, which is what they did and it is good that they did so.
-
The changes really arent that bad. The fact that so many people are screaming and crying already is asinine. Bo -blam!- you cant super every 15 seconds. Youll be ok. 95% of this is mind numbingly easy.
-
Nothing is going to change, everything other than gm's and hard mode raid will have any difficulty
-
Warmind cells are a blatant issue if I can clear an entire room of ads every few seconds. They are beyond broken, that I wouldn’t run any activity without them. They needed a nerf a long time ago. There’s no argument there.
-
When things stand out for being incredibly effective, typically rising above the rest, they get looked at. For example - cells were dominant. I always ran warmind cells. Now, it appears as though they’ll compliment your playstyle, rather than dictate it. This is how balancing works.
-
3 RespuestasIt was actually nerfed on performance. #4 (at least) in 3v3 modes and on top of that it propagates a cheesy play style whereby you actively avoid gun fights. It’s deserved.
-
If something is making pve people aren’t going to complain. As a developer it’s Bungie’s job to balance the game and not let things like warming cells to choke out other options. To do that they need to be nerfed as they’re clearly superior. That’s true for all pve nerfs.
