They’ve been the most overpowered gun since the beginning and that’s what rules competitive game modes. Hand cannons are the issue. Nerfing them would actually bring balance
-
A blanket hc nerf is a horrendous idea 120s need slight tuning. 140s are in a perfect spot. 180s are terrible and need some tweaks. That is all
-
Disagree. Hand Cannons are pretty balanced atm, even 120s after their Range nerf. They also require peeking, proper timing of shots and good aim to use effectively. It's not like the 600 rpm meta we had a year ago where you would empty your Gnawing Hunger's mag at the corner where the enemy was, reload and repeat until you got the kill. It's also not like grenade launchers atm, where due to map size, you can get kills easily by firing off a couple 'nades into a corridor and wait for them to bounce off a surface and hit an enemy.

Editado por BoyarD: 6/15/2021 11:00:57 PMHandcannons were trash in vanilla D2 Sure they are good now, but not broken. The only argument is that 120s still have a little too much range and can be abused with empowering rift, damage perks, and mods like charge with light. Many guns can compete in terms of TTK but the ability to peek-shot is what makes them so good
-
It wouldnt. Remember the 600 RPM auto meta ...no HC's were used.
-
They are not that hard to counter to be fair, Many weapons have a faster ttk. Where HCs shine is when weapon buffs come into play.
-
20 RespuestasNot really. HCs get nerfed then you’ll have an even more toxic meta. Next strongest weapons are pulse rifles… Their strongest one is locked in Trials. After that’ll it’ll be 600 autos again. Their strongest one… locked in trials… Adept versions will run rampant.
-
There will always be a meta, and people will always complain about it. If it’s not one weapon type, it will be another. Nerfing the weapon into the ground solves nothing in the long run.
-

-
Needing hand cannons doesn’t bring balance you goof. Because then the sandbox would not favour an archetype of weapons, thus, no balance.
-
But hand cannons are fun though... I think 120's still need to be reigned in, but overall hand cannons are good fun and fairly skillful unlike some weapons *cough DMT with catalyst*
-
17 RespuestasBungie wont. Hunters and HC are bungie's favorites. They will never do the right thing and nerf both into the dirt.
-
What gets me is they want to NERF The Hunter ability and tell us it's because it's overused. Then how come hand cannons Mostly but also shotgun are the most used weapons in PvP since destiny 2 started yet they don't get the nerfs into the ground like other things
-
-
1 RespuestaSounds like the pve kid cant handle pvp. Its not the guns fault your losing, its the person using it
-
28 RespuestasYou guys act like hand cannons are the only viable weapon lol- it’s not hard, just use another weapon! Look up cammycakes on YouTube he can show you that all though hand cannons are the most used weapon, you can use other guns and do good!
-
LMFAO BOUNTY GOBLIN BRO GO OUTSIDE
-
Cause gnawing hunger meta was so much better.
-
Have you tried using one besides last word???
-
Ha you're funny dude nerf shotguns to the ground they are used way too much
-
Agree, shouldn't be able to snipe with them.

Editado por Strider_Roshin: 6/13/2021 10:41:43 PMGive them the same in air accuracy, and bullet bending angles as everyone else, and require 100 precision for all rpms since all of their damage is in one bullet rather than full auto or burst fire. And give them the shortest range since they aren't rifles and they don't have scopes. If putting them on equal playing field is "nerfing them to the ground" then the ground is where the other weapons currently lay.
-
Define “the beginning” ? What date did this start?
-
There will never be balance in a game like destiny. Don't understand why people don't get this
-
10 RespuestasI mean, I have no problem going back to year 1 and just hard camping your ass in spawn with Jade Rabbit and Mida. 🤷 Simpler times. Or we can go back to the end of Destiny 1 where everyone was running around with Sidearms that had a .5 ttk 🤣
-
2 RespuestasFat chance. 180 meta 150 meta 120 meta If/when they nerf them 140 meta When something has the top Ttks, peek-shooting, short all the way through to mid-long range, aim assist through the roof, it's the ONLY weapon that will be used and win out. On top of that, by the Devs own recent admittance, they're scared to buff Sidearms, SMGs, Scouts or Pulses! THERE CAN BE ONLY ONE! Paired with the only Special weapon used (slight use of Sniper...) Shotgun, you have the Crucible: HC & Shotgun and nothin' else.
