Being impatient doesn’t automatically mean they’re toxic. I’d get a little impatient too if I was running the same section for an hour and getting nowhere. If they didn’t feel it was going to work and wanted to go on their own way, that’s fine. If they were running their mouths off and trash talking, that’s totally different. However, toxicity is and has always been a huge problem in Destiny going all the way back to the first raids and even nightfalls. So many people expect perfection right out of the gate, and that’s almost never the case. I haven’t played for some time now and simply came back to the forum to get a feel for the current state. But when I was playing all the time, I found that the easiest way to sift through these types is to be as transparent in your lfg post as possible. That way, if someone responds to a post from a bunch of players on their first run, they already know what they’re getting into and will likely be more patient.
