I tried joining VoG in D1 I was always kicked for being 1 under light or not having a specific emblem or weapon they wanted but their friends didn't have. Every lfg I put together wouldn't be patient enough to learn to game with each other. I was gatekept. For this VoG I plan to run 2-3 a week or more. I have an amazing clan and raid teams lined up. The actual encounters aren't hard themselves. I am happy I see D1 vets struggling rn. They're the same people who gatekept me. I can't wait to sherpa people and on a different note get the seal. One thing is for sure, you are at a severe disadvantage in destiny without a clan. Lfg won't cut it for consistency.

Its a struggle for sure being clanless. But not impossible. Being clanless means you have to do more work and do the research and experience from previous raids, but it also means you can go at your own pace if you set up lfg's without having made up a false promise in helping someone out, and they never help you back. A selfish mentality for sure but when so many people done you wrong like that, you decide to not give a shit about others Got all raids seals except for Enlightened and Fatebreaker. Working hard on them
