This is why I rarely ever raid in D2, even when I very much want to.
I don’t have a clan that raids, no friends that play Destiny anymore, and LFG is my only chance. But things [i]changed[/i] between D1 and D2.
The fireteam finder, players attitudes, more unforgiving mechanics, revive tokens. I don’t know if it was one or all of these things but raiding in D2 can be a nightmare for a solo player looking for a team. It sucks. It really sucks.

I find raids completely outdated, I tried to play in the early days but got continuously scolded because I didn’t get the mechanics (my fault) since then I decided to Solo raids for chests - works for me.

My clan regularly raids and has a super awesome Sherpa system set up if you’d like to join

Yep and all these players saying “oh its easy” yeah if you have good group of “friends” that still play it but alot of people moved on

Ive got between 400 and 500 clears, and 90% of those were lfgs. It is not too difficult to find a solid team for raids.

True…..i dont have that crazy amount of clears but i did DSC on the destiny app and found great bunch of people to play with…why would you do that much clears are you a streamer?

When was the last time you raided? Lol, you’re only allowed to revive a teammate if you have one and everyone only gets one meaning if you revived someone you can’t Rez anyone else

I have the same experience since D1, but I have no problems finding a team, you shouldnt loose hope just because you had bad experiences in the past. 95% of my LFG discord runs are fine, if not more

I would def recommend r/destinysherpa if you have reddit, it's an entire community of people who want to be taught raids and people who are willing to teach, and they also have a discord with an lfg channel that anyone can find groups in, totally changed my raid experience in this game

I just wish there were a similar thing for "done it but still learning" people - most of the r/ sherpas only want people who have never done the raid, and I don't want to get b*tched at or kicked by an impatient LFG group because I forgot some magic sequence that I've only done once...

I call it with many names now: - The World's First complex - The Emblem complex - The I'm the best here, look at me complex - Lastly, my favorite, The Bubblehead complex. Because Ego, head bigger than body.😂 Game has become a "Flexing" contest it has brought about some egotistic behaviors in the community. Game has always been about elitism since D1. But I've meet some really good people back in the day, D1 days. Some of the best raiders too. D2 showed up and things started to change. Community got nasty and greedy. I still tolerated it. But yeah, D2 community got toxic. Some of the good raiders aren't even here or vocally active. Some have dropped the game long time ago. What you have left is a remnant of a toxic waste dump. I used to Sherpa back in D1 and early days of D2. For FREE! No attachments. I don't even stream or do YouTube. Just good old fun runs! Now, LFG is freaking toxic you take one look at it and it feels like poison.😂😂😂 I'm playing D1 now, and will continue to do so until they shut it down. I'll play D2 for free, but I got tired of a lot of things about it now. I'm also playing other games in between. If I were playing D2 now, I would help you out. But game is just a hamster wheel with cows being milked. I don't know when I'll get on it again. Have fun!

It really sucks.[/quote] If you need an endgame clan- we are here for u at Northstar. I was severely gatekept before but these guys showed me the ropes. In d1 I was like u- and I didnt know how important clans were. I ain't gonna force it and I only wish you the best.

Bungie should just make easier matchmade versions of the raids so everyone would have a chance to see the raid. Even Blizzard did this with WoW.

It’s so much elitism these days, Yes vanilla vog and crota were super easy raids because of the cheeses and the simplicity.... but damn do I miss the days of getting on with the boys and actually having fun running through those raids, being able to joke around, but now with these new raids there’s just no time for shit talking or fun, it’s all LEFT 3, RIGHT 1, I NEED A CLENSE, I wanna have fun with a raid not be some seal team 6 squad

It’s all about - Look at my Emblem and KD, I'm so F Great. They would love to keep anyone getting anything top tier. That way they can peacock around about what they have and you will never get. This is the new face of Destiny unfortunately. - "Get Guud", "I cleared it with no problem", "You just ScK" D1 will remain my best years. Met great people and actually had a lot of fun.
