The Travaler
If the Travaler was on earth for centuries, then the Travaler was around longer than man. The fallen lived under it and fell when darkness came and it fled. Then it was moved from Mars to earth, and created the guardians with the light and centuries past and were where we are at now. So the Travaler has been around longer than man.
