Is 'skill' the ability to 'cheese' ?
Proving grounds nightfall is beyond very hard. Why does it need to be this unfair hard?
Seeing top youtubers soloing this with chees strats only...
You overdid it there bungie. Corona dosent prevent playtesting.

Everything I hear and see a out this GM makes me feel more and more like Bungie never once actually tested this. Maybe they should have a Mario Maker rule in place for themselves, they can't add it if they can't beat it. I haven't tried yet but my clan mates have been trying for hours now today and hours yesterday and they've gotten to the boss but haven't beaten it and it sounds boring as hell. Lots of camping, no ammo drops basically kill the run, getting one shot by almost everything and no cover in the most important parts of the strike.

I do feel like GMs are very hard without some sort of exploit. The best highlight of this is the scarlett keep from last season where the whole strike from the foot of the elevator onward is cheese. Riding the elevator up normally is extremely difficult; the acolytes shred you, there is minimal cover and you cant use rifts or titan walls. So, you jump off the elevator into a joining allies zone alone the wall and are teleported to the top of it to where it stops moving and you do this 3 times to hard avoid the acolyte shooting gallery. It doesnt stop here though, when you get to the boss room you can run into the area where she spawns when the gate opens and jump up into a cheese spot on top of the wall which has great cover and allows you to pick off enemies without being in danger. In the exodus crash from last season there is a piece of geometry above the door from which you enter the boss room that you can stand on, allowing you to see the entire arena. The best part is it blocks you from damage; enemy bullets hit an invisible barrier and can't hurt you. In the inverted spire boss arena you can stand on a piece of geometry during the first drop that allows you to not have to fight in the actual arena. There are others but these are what I remember.

Yep. Skill is the ability to cheat,glitch,and overall spam to you get the kill. I’m being sarcastic of course because skill as I have said many times before is not defined very well in an fps. It’s the reason skill based matchmaking doesn’t work. Connection base matchmaking doesn’t work either because a peer to peer connection means someone’s internet is the host and some people’s internet can’t handle 12 player pvp. Bungie has no servers to circumvent this. If they did have dedicated server/regional servers this game would run a lot smoother that what it does and have a security system to detect cheaters or stop a game completely if a cheater is detected.

You do realize that you tubers are trying to make content you’ll want to watch. The bait of a cheese strat is a key to destiny YouTube. A normal grandmaster isn’t fun to watch and doesn’t promise a strat to make the game easier for low leveled players.

Some grandmasters require a certain loadout, especially at first. This week it's middle tree titan with ursa's. I think by the end of the week there will be a strategy involving the tunnel cover in the back of the boss room which will help to be able to use other subclasses.

Talking about the same company that released Stasis. So many skilled players are now able to ability spam and get kills without using weapons.
