Ban stasis from all competitive playlists...
... such as trials and survival. Nearly every engagement is being frozen or slowed. Throwing stars slowing you for an obscene amount of time. Or the Bakris shift-Star frozen combo through walls and around corners. Warlock chaining freeze. Duskfield pulling you out of cover. Stasis is anything but competitive. It’a gross

Not saying it is better, not saying it is worse. Just different. You see, with stasis abilities, it is not about the damage numbers. It is about the utility. So unless Stasis gets SEVERELY nerfed, utility level nerfed, it will be the same. I don't think the dev team will ban a subclass from being used in pvp activities. It will look...odd. No matter the frustration it causes. Nerfed? Yep. Banned? Highly unlikely. Also plz forgive my English.

4 RespuestasFully agree, ran into several 3 stacks of hunter's and it's nothing but stasis, shurikan's, dusk field grenade's, and masks of Brakis everywhere. -blam!-ing toxic. Hunter's invisibility was annoying but manageable, Stasis is broken and I doubt the upcoming nerf is going to fix it.

12 RespuestasI'm starting to think I'm the only person who doesn't encounter this to the degree the forum posts make out? Stasis really isn't that hard to back up from. Yes, there's still times I get frozen but it's nowhere near as bad that I'd say it's not wanted in a certain game mode. The last month or so (and keep in mind I'm not usually a great player) I've been doing Really well in elimination AND having fun with it even when we lose. Stasis is lethal up close but if you know you're going against a team using it, keep your distance, back up where you can and don't push as a team. That works for me and my friends anyway. As I've seen someone say before, it's not stasis that's the issue, it's how you play. You have to adapt to changes and unfortunately stasis is forcing people out of their comfort zone and it's not settling well.

6 RespuestasThat fact that you actually get hit with iceflare bolts in pvp just tells me all about the type of play style you use. Smh. Iceflare bolts are dog shit in pvp so if you get frozen by them you're awareness is literally equivalent to the size of a walnut. You can see iceflare bolts coming from a mile away. There's even an indicator that lets you know they're near you....smh.....your issue is that you probably are a shotgun ape and get caught or you're just bad in pvp.

Omfg all these bots who think it’s balanced and should stay... literally just look at most player kd rations before and after stasis. If that’s not enough of a sign that it shouldn’t be in the game, try playing trials and tell me when you find a game without stasis in it. 99% of matches exclusively uses stasis because guess what: it’s a win condition now.

It's so easy to bait though. Anytime I see a squander and silence coming I jump to the side and make it out of the range of the blizzard and have enough time break out and run. Same for duskfield, hunters can dodge as it hits the ground before it activate, warlocks have Icarus, and titan can jump as it hits and make it out just fine.

2 RespuestasThis has literally split our clan up. We get on and do strikes, nightfalls, the odd raid etc. as does any other clan, then when the descent PvP players want to do their stuff, they log out and play other games together.
