cheating is still a massive problem in competitive
i recently came over from xbox one because i upgraded to a pc, and i am blown away by how many cheaters are in competitive. I know its impossible to stop all cheating but the frequency at which it happens is embarrassing. People still blatantly wallhack/aimbot and i even had a a guy running around with heavy ammo on spawn and dropping it like a pinata every time he got killed. a big part of grinding to legend is getting a streak going for the bonus points and its nearly impossible when you find a cheater every 5 games.
i cant have fun playing because im too busy with my whole team getting headshot mid slide by a guy with 99 percent headshot accuracy.

1 RespuestaYeah as soon as I see a guy constantly sliding and landing headshots back to back, I figure they are cheating. Ive faced true pvp gods like ifrostbolt and even he misses some shots, there are some people in crucible that wont ever miss one. This is what happens when games go free to play.

If you know comp stinks to high heaven of cheaters, why are you being an upstanding citizen and putting yourself through it? Why don't you join them? When in Rome, and all of that. Is it for the title? Let's be honest, that title doesn't mean anything, now it's been watered down by said cheaters. I digress... So what's the point of your post again?

Damn, read reviews from consumers praising these devices & bragging of going Flawless/Unbroken or ‘earning’ We Ran/CoD medals etc Seems there’s a large number of gamers whom have to ‘win’ at all costs

If only you could sell morales, mind you I bet most of these kids don’t even know what the word means. Tip: f2p multiplayer on pc isn’t worth the graphical upgrade.

Easy way to fix this. Remove loss of points and there you go. It’s will dramatically drop. Next step was an idea I had a few days ago. Have an in game thing that can be picked up saying I want a challenge. It would place them in there own matchmaking and everything. There would be about five to six of these cards for each endgame activity. Pve and pvp would be way more challenging for those who want it. I mean I still perfer my remove loss of points though making pvp worthless like it should have been in the first place since the beginning of the game.

20 RespuestasUnfortunate, but true. Its sad because Destiny 2 is probably one of the best PC versions of a console game that you're ever likely to see. But Bungie was unprepared for the level of cheating that comes with FTP games on PC....and have not been to manage getting a handle on the problem.

Cheating is a huge problem even in quickplay. Lagging is cheating.
