I'm just curious that if the goal is Diversity and Inclusion why are certain groups not included with special emblems in D2? I only see the opportunity for LGBTQ and Blacks to have special emblems. I see nothing for Native Americans, Aborigines, Latinos/Latinas, Asians, Pacific Islanders or Caucasians.
Will this ever be addressed and resolved or will discriminatory practices remain persistent.

6 RespuestasIt's not really about postmodern intersectionality, diversity and inclusion. "Politics and humanism are just motivating cultural factors to distract, motivate, and lull society into the new transition. Politics and humanism are cultural motivators, influencers, distractions, used to assemble society to properly transition." Dayz is referring to the Great Reset initiative of the World Economic Forum and the United Nations' Agenda 21. It's a transition to the "new world order." It's not really new because this hubris is recurrent history. We know this because it has been culled out before. King Solomon is correct in the following passage: "What has been will be again, what has been done will be done again; there is nothing new under the sun." History repeats itself. We are damned to repeat past tragedies as we arrogantly disregard history. That's not to say we are to drown in despair. Someday, that true new world order, new elysium, will come and replace the counterfeit we are being sold.

Bungie is a game studio, not a lobbying group. They should not publicly give money to any political charity and leave that up to their private employees. This is the best way to bring the community together instead of driving us apart with political crap.
-
I would much rather them stop doing this all together. I and the vast majority of people play games for fun and enjoyment, not to get political and push agendas or get "inclusive" and "woke." Get it out of a game world where It doesn't matter, keep it in the real world. Same way I feel about movies. I watch movies for the story and for the film itself, not to shoehorn specific people and groups in for the sake of inclusivity. I couldn't care less who you are, what you look like, or what group you are in, cause at the end of the day it doesnt matter. Stop plaguing things with these matters because it doesn't make a difference in the real world. Focus on where the real problems are which is in society and governments and...ya know....the real world

It’s about being in the spotlight signaling goodwill.

1 RespuestaBungie will continue to bend in the wind of political correctness, giving the shaft to anyone that is seen as “entitled” or “privileged” by their skin color, gender, or race. Basically, what Martin Luther King said, but the exact opposite. I’d be happy if they would just stay out of it, because it’s extremely toxic, you’re on one side or the other, they’re picking a side which is on the wrong side of history, just like the -godwinslaw!-.

Because there's no money in that.

1 RespuestaEditado por Starlight Raven: 3/14/2021 7:57:54 PMBecause BLM incorporates ALL oppressed groups of people due to racial or class disproportionately represented, and LGBTQ+ covers sexual orientation/identity absent race/class. Basically, these 2 things cover everything. No need for specifics. It's the same thing like being a "feminist", where it isn't about supporting women by itself over men, it's about the advocacy of women's rights on the basis of social equality of the sexes.

Yes we need more ugly emblems.

9 RespuestasEven military and vets... nothing Smh Yeah they play the game too Its a farce and a hoax to siphon yo money while keep you mad and angry at each other. Next we will have Olympics emblem lol
-
1 RespuestaBungie need to concentrate on the GAME NOT the marketing/PR bandwagon!
-
"There aren't any emblems beyond the BLM one and the Pride one!!!!!!" Oh no! Anyway. Seriously, it's a pin and a damn emblem, you can get over yourself.
-
Doesn't affect me. Don't mind either way.
-
Anyone can pick and choose whatever cause they want to show support for. Companies aren't obligated to show support or host special events (Bungie selling pins being the example given here) for absolutely every societal issue just because they've come out in support of others in the past, and them choosing not to do so isn't inherently discriminatory (it might be, depends on the reasons why.) You didn't mention women's rights in your original post, does that mean you're being discriminatory by not doing so? (I'm not actually saying you are, just using your own logic against you to make a point.)

13 RespuestasPressing social equality issues with money that goes to charity I’m sure there’s merit to having more if they link up with another charity like an Asian organization because there’s been a trend of hate crimes against Asian people since COVID-19 started, idk about caucasians there’s no reason for that at all lol They do a lot of charity pins and emblems like Nepal, Australia, one for children, lgbt, Black Lives Matter, etc

10 RespuestasEditado por mikeyrox1234: 3/14/2021 3:47:30 PMI’m under the mentality that if you can’t include everyone then you include no one... obviously this mentality doesn’t apply to everything. It’s like a kid bringing food into class. If he doesn’t bring enough for everyone then nobody gets food, not even him. Edit: YOOO SERAPHIM MOVED THIS THREAD!!! WASSUP! Coolest moderator on the forums!

You can have every one of my pointless emblems if you feel you are missing out. 👍
-
Pretty sure it's less discriminatory intent and more trying to be woke

1 RespuestaHopefully not. I’d rather they take out those emblems since, and this is my educated guess, Gaurdians of this time and apocalyptic struggle should kinda be focused away from “diversity” and “identity”. Seems to me this is the time too look passed that and see ourselves as one conforming and solidified team. United together with differences in between. Not a diverse group ready to disband based on mild features and differences.
Again just my opinion on the plot, you’re welcome to disagree with me OP
