Imagine this
Imagine the following:
After the Guardians have come back to the Vault of Glass, Vanguard picks up a strange transmission, a Vanguard code transmitted via a Vex signal.
Our Guardian is sent to investigate and through a Vex portal, we end up on a Darkness infested version of Io.
Then, a Vex mind approaches and we hear a familiar voice:
"Ah, Assistant, there you are. You received my message, good. We have a lot of work ahead of us."

5 RespuestasOr, Asher as a transcended mind that took Atheons place and occasionally says things to us during the fight that range from praise of how far we've come, how we've improved since he last met us, a line about how "that last attack damaged me most adequately assistant" with a Vex distorted growl toward the end of the line, and occasionally, distorted screams of agony asking us to kill him and be thorough. It would be the darkest and most tragic turn in any Raid.
