Seriously? Another random roll exotic?
I didn’t care about hawk moon because thats what the gun stands for but is this the new exotic standards? Random rolls on every exotic we get from here on out? Im not liking this.
Fyi: this is going to be the excuse to sunset exotics.
This is for cozmo: thank you for replying and asking for feedback, in my opinion, I rather we get exotics with perks to choose from. This is how D1 perks worked, D1 exotics allowed players to choose from barrels or entirely different perks. Please take that route instead of random rolls, random rolls on exotics devalue them. If more customization is the plan then please consider simply adding different perks for players to choose from instead of having them grind for random rolls.

It’s pointless, just more artificial grind. Everyone will always go for the same god roll azetecross tells them to anyway, so why not make it always have that roll?

The massive issue with Random rolled exotics is that it doesn't feel like a proper exotic and these random rolls will be able to get sunset which is still so stupid

134 RespuestasEager to hear more feedback but want to set some expectations. We don't plan on putting an random rolled exotic every season. Let us know if you would like to see a few of these here and there but more spread out in the future or if you dislike the idea of random rolled exotics all together and would rather not have any more in the future. I'm sure I commented on the post just like this LOL I'm going to say like what I said on the other post so what if it's a random roll exotic it's optional. Be grateful that we got new content in the game that wasn't some glorified old exotic or some Same Old location that we already seen a hundred times. This is how every season should be new content every season new locations new things to Chase the seasonal activity should always be different as well one season should be a new PVP mode another season should be a new PVE mode

1 RespuestaI do not like random rolls on exotics. Seems like a pitiful peace offering for sunsetting our favorite legendries. Offer selectable perks like the options we had in D1. We grind way to much as it is for nothing! PS: Sunsetting items we went through the grind to earn and enjoy SUCKS big time! Nothing has ever made me more angry at a game as the word that my favorite game of all time was spiting in my face and completely disrespecting my time invested! The decision to sunset needs to be reversed!

How about adding a few new exotics each season that can actually drop in normal play? The joy of seeing an exotic drop in the wild has been missing for a while with those of us who have stuck with the game. I am not saying abandon quest related exotics, because many do like that. Just sprinkle in a few surprises that can be pleasantly obtained through the normal grind.

so, you don't like random rolls because your assuming that bungie is going to sunset them in the future? seems a bit presumptuous, don't you think? I think random rolls on kinetic exotics is good, then you can get a roll that fits your playstyle a little better than the base gun.it's fine if random rolls only exist on a few kinetic exotics, but if bungie start doing it to all exotics, then we might have a problem.

8 RespuestasWhats not to like? Now you can get exotics that have the exotic perks but can roll with different normal perks so people can better use them for different things. And its easily farmable. How in the world can anyone -blam!- about bungie letting us have more options when it comes to exotics?? I shit on bungie for a shit load of thigs all the time. But this is one of the few things that they have done hats amazing.

Also what happened to being avle to change your sights, i like some of these snipers and autos Im getting but the sightas are gross. Honestly i think destiny would benefit having a full on gun customization station, sight/stock/barrel/magazine/grips, shit they don't even have to affect stats, but itd be nice if they did. Then you just throw on a couple random perks and let the player flesh it out how they want.

6 RespuestasI don't see an issue with having a fun exotic mission that has a random roll attached to it giving me a reason to play it again. The newest quest is really awesome but if the loot was a fixed roll I would never play it again unless someone really needed help. I agree that I don't want it to be the norm with exotics but one a season that has an interesting activity behind it and not "Kill 3000 scorn, Complete 40 gambit matches etc" is okay with me.

I like having random rolls on an exotic as I'm looking for it with vorpal which I got whereas someone might prefer killing wind we have random rolls on legendaries what's the difference

I actually think they should go back and make some other exotics able to be randomly rolled. Jade Rabbit would be a prime candidate. Bad Juju, Huckleberry, No time to Explain. They all have basic perks that would benefit from the ability to be rerolled. Especially Jade Rabbit. I dont think they get devalued at all. I think some rolls, sure are devalued. But I think random rolls add value to these guns and quite frankly give you more of a reason to be excited on getting another drop, rather then insta dismantling a exotic you have already.

I don’t mind a few as long as the farming method is awesome like the past 2 missions you created. However I don’t want more than one here or there with random rolls. Also how about make the first version of the cone come with a perk. Don’t make me waste a roll the first time getting the transformative perk
