anyone else bored already?
I’ve played a few hours of the new season in the space of 2 days. And all I can say is I’m bored. Yes we got new weapons, armour stasis aspects... whatever. This new battlegrounds isn’t the best. Why do they have to put the light level up so far. I really cannot be bothered using blues or legendary with terrible roles again or wasting my upgrade modules into my masterworked weapons for a few light levels. I’m enjoying the bow to be fair, it’s very fun and I like blowing up stuff with it, especially in the crucible. But other than that, vanguards the same, Titans are now overpowered with the sliding stasis fragment. I can’t even play the nightfall with sepiks because I cannot be bothered to put my light level up again and again.

Yes, I am bored without the thrills of Crucible and Gambit due to sudden disconnection issues. 2 months that is make me bored that I switched to other game when finished my bounties.

3 RespuestasMeanwhile Free to Play players essentially were bored within 2 hours. No access to Battlegrounds, and only one new strike. So back to mindlessly grinding if you're into that. So don't worry, you're in the same boat as those folks.

4 RespuestasI dont understand why people are judging an entire season based on the first week. This season, from first impressions, is actualy pretty good. Yes the weapons last a year, but I'll be using diffrent ones by then anyways so it doesnt matter. I dont understand, but alas people are allowed to think as they wish and I'll let them do as they wish. Those that enjoy the game dont really enjoy the salt yall give anyways.

Well all that matters in this game is loots. Couldnt care less about battlegrounds or new seasonal activities. They get old really fast (besides menagerie tough thanks to many encounters) I prefer having reasons to run nightfalls gambit and pvp rather than playing a random horde mode

Bored? No. Lifeless from grinding? Maybe. I wish they would update the old subclasses to have fragments so we can have a little more customization. Don't get me wrong, I love using the old subclasses but they just feel dull. I want more like the stasis ones.

2 RespuestasThis Season is vastly superior to Season of the Hunt, and yet I fear that it won’t hold my attention for all that long. I’m already getting tired of running the Battlegrounds event, which has quickly become repetitive. I think burn out is probably a highly contributing factor.

2 RespuestasNahh this games gunplay is next to none. Granted, it could be in a way better state. But I do enjoy just getting on, trying all different kinds of weapons, and trying to make builds..Idk, guess I’m just one of few people who just like the game for what it is.

3 RespuestasI think I like the new Umbral Engram set up, getting rewarded for just playing is how it should work. The season pass is dull though, just give us the new gear and ornaments in quests, by the time you grind out 100 levels your coming to season end and haven't had chance to really enjoy the new stuff before it's hamster wheel time again. This is made worse by sunsetting. Battle grounds is not bad and adding 2 more will help with it in terms of replay. Drip feeding the H.E.L.M. upgrades at 3 a week is a meh move though.

3 RespuestasI got bored pretty quickly and have now moved on to Borderlands 3, which I had already but hadn't played since the 4 DLCs. Having a blast with them. It's going to be hard to come back to Destiny 2 after that, especially since I have other games in my backlog that look interesting. Running the same strikes, Gambit, the new but already tedious battlegrounds, etc, just doesn't compete. I can't see Destiny 2 being anything but a sideshow for me going forward, something I dip into when I want a quick taste of the old game instead of being the main course.

So wearing blue gear for one week is just too much for you to handle. You get 3 months behind 1300+, but that one first week is so hard. Come one dude, really?

1 RespuestaI'm not. I'm more concerned about the time gate on the war table leveling and maybe a little annoyed at the drop rate of some of the mode/nightfall rewards. But at least I have a reason to do some stuff..even of the game is lite on content. I enjoy the mindless convenience and familiarity of just doing strikes, gambit and crucible

2 RespuestasI bought the season passes, didn't finish last one, I got to about level 85. This season I only made it to level 10 before I got bored. I'm back to playing [b][u]Borderlands 3[/u][/b] DLC and enjoying a game where [b][i]you can actually make a new build[/i]. [/b] Once you accept that it really isn't worth grinding for anything that requires a lot of effort because they are just going to take it off you anyway, you end up wearing the seasonal armor you are given and just take weapons as they come along. I deleted 2 of my guardians to just focus on the Hunter because the content is very thin, I know I won't do it again. The new exotic bow is weak, even if you bother to learn the best firing technique, it's very situational and pretty useless for normal combat. The ARC version we already have (forgot the name) is so much better and quite useful because its special trick is easy to proc.

6 RespuestasI'm just amazed at how many people have been saying this season is better than the last. I'm not seeing it. What's the point of new loot if it barely drops? What's the point of returning weapons if they aren't meta? Why grind for another 50 LL if there's no raid? Why bring back umbrals in an even more convoluted way, but make them even less useful than they used to be? Why put champions in matchmade content after seeing how poorly that worked in ordeals? How is this season better? Seasons as a whole have been garbage. Waiting around for weeks on end so 10 minutes of content can drop is not fun.
