Ehroar is right...
Bringing Swords down to be as bad as other heavy weapons isn't going to make them better. ( ex. Nerfing sword damage won't make linear fusions better better) Swords are convenient for the types of environments and encounters in the game. It's not that Swords are broken, it's the fact that Bungie isn't actually balancing heavy weapons. But I'm not good at explaining things so just watch Ehroar's vid, also show him some support I think he's pretty cool.

1 RespuestaEditado por GPrime96: 2/8/2021 3:31:13 AMThe thing about Swords is, there’s not that many options with as high of a DPS to shred enemies like a Overload Champion while being 10 - 20+ LL underleveled. Those guys would get up, teleport, and regen nearly all of their Health before being staggered again and Falling Guillotine/Lament would kill them in one stagger phase outside of stuff like Anarchy and Xenophage. It depends if Rocket Launchers after their Buff would keep up between Substained (FG) and Burst Damage (Lament) even without Lucent Blade and with a 15% nerf.

4 RespuestasI’m not watching the video. I will say though that, even with that 15% nerf, swords are still going to be better than literally everything else by a good margin. They’re just getting pulled back a bit, which is fine.
