I've been recently hearing that Trials of Osiris is in a bad spot.
With the new loot coming out next season (I'm especially eyeing for the ship and the sparrow), is it really such a bad idea to go into this mode?
I'm asking this as someone who mainly played Crucible for Valor (non-competetive) and who pretty much never does PvP without matchmaking.

Ideas Trials Match making Add elo of the three players on one team find the average and thats the team average elo. Then allow the team to start match making for a team that falls into the elo ranges described bellow. Diamond matches challenger, diamonds, & higher platinums. Platinums match lower diamonds, platinums, & higher golds. Golds matches lower platinums, golds, & higher silvers Silvers matches lower golds, silvers, & bronze. Challenger - Top 500 Teams (1700 req.) Diamond - 1700+ Platimun 1500+ Higher Platinum 1699 - 1600 Lower Platinum 1599 - 1500 Gold - 1300+ Higher Gold 1499 - 1400 Lower God 1399 - 1300 Silver - 1100+ Higher silver 1299-1200 Lower silver 1199 -1100 Bronze all others. Trials all weapons listed drop with updated fire rates and random rolls. All of these weapons drop randomly after a random match regardless of match out come. Trials of Osiris D1 * Vision Stone, Legendary Auto Rifle. * Blind Perdition, Legendary Pulse Rifle. * Stellar Vestige, Legendary Fusion Rifle. * Unraveling Thread, Legendary Shotgun. * The Winged Word, Legendary Sniper Rifle. * The Water Star Legendary Hand Cannon * The Inward Lamp Legendary Scout Rifle * Reflection Sum Legendary Pulse Rifle Trials of The Nine weapons return to loot pool * Adjudicator - 600 RPM Submachine Gun * A Sudden Death - 45 RPM Shotgun * A Swift Verdict - 260 RPM Sidearm * Judgment - 140 RPM Hand Cannon * A Cold Sweat - 180 RPM Hand Cannon * Prosecutor - 450 RPM Auto Rifle * The Last Breath - 600 RPM Auto rifle * Relentless - 320 RPM Pulse Rifle * The Long Walk -72 RPM Sniper Rifle * The End -180 RPM Scout Rifle * Motion to Compel - 150 RPM Scout rifle * Motion to Suppress - 900 RPM Submachine gun * Motion to Vacate - 80 RPM Shotgun * Purpose - 200 RPM Scout rifle * Darkest Before - 540 RPM Pulse rifle Trials weapons that drop from wins only D1 * The Summoner Legendary Auto Rifle * The Scholar Legendary Scout Rifle * The Messenger Legendary Pulse Rifle * Jewel of Osiris Legendary Hand Cannon * Doctrine of Passing Legendary Auto Rifle * Blind Perdition Legendary Pulse Rifle * Burning Eye Legendary Scout Rifle * Exile's Student Legendary Hand Cannon If anything let the player base vote on what weapons drop randomly and what weapons can only be acquired from wins plus new weapons and armor over time. Bounties at Saint 14 that allow players to farm weapon types simply by getting kills as a team using that weapon type in trials. These are repeatable bounties. The bounties offer either a random weapon from that specific archer type or a specific weapon that can only be acquired if the player has already received one through wins or random drop. This bounty concept could also apply to crucible and vanguard bounties for specific weapons and armor.

1 RespuestaCollect 2 Friends and practice in Elimination. Get the synergy and you'll do fine.

Two pieces of advice. 1) Don’t play it if you are on PC. Just don’t. Cheaters will ruin multiple runs before you ever get the chance to even attempt Flawless. 2) If you’re on console, bear in mind that it will be the sweatiest pile of dogshit that Bungie has evermade. Players will 3-peak constantly, camp at the back with snipers, use any and all forms of Stasis, etc. It’s tolerable on console, but it won’t be fun, I can promise you that much. Basically - on console, maybe give it a shot, but stay clear on PC.

It’s bad, and I’d even say that’s a bit of an understatement. If you want the new stuff, I’d recommend going in ASAP next season, as the population should be higher than it has been in a while. The more weeks you wait, the harder the early games on the card will be.
-
I’d only play it if you’re interested in slow, boring and monotonous things.
-
I’d rather do my exams than play trials in its current state.

If you can jump in with a clan or a group of competent friends who don't get tilted and toxic easily, it can be fun. If you're trying to jump in with randoms or blueberries, forget it.

1 RespuestaI would say play in the morning. Playing at night time does nothing good for u. That's a general rule of thumb even now. As for next season I think u should play early on but once the hype from the new loot dies down u could decide whether to call it quits or keep trying.

2 RespuestasTrials are not easy, the best pvp players are on trials, & make for sure that you need a great team to play a lot before you get some rewards. If you have not got decent kd in pvp, do not waste your time tring it. Before trials, you need to be an active pvp player & being good. For casual pvp people, better not to try it, you are going to think all of the people are cheaters, and most of the people are playing clean.

Get in early. Because as the season goes on it’ll get crazier and crazier with cheaters.

Give it a go next season
