The final gift for dawning was horrid
All that work for nothing new i was hopeing for something exlclusive but we get shit from eververse from 2 years ago and an exotic engram worst dawning ever

Hey, I got an avalanche with shit stats, an exotic I already had with worse stats then the one I had, a purple emote and a golfball. I will use literally none of it. The exotic and avalanche have already been dismantled. I already have too many golf balls and not any gear I want to use it on. And an emote, which is nice but will never replace the emotes I like (and since you can only hold 4 at a time it means it will never be used).

I never really expected much. From the path all the other gifts took some cosmetics and an exotic makes sense. Likewise the way I see it is the large amount we needed to complete it was simply there to make sure people who would find exploits like going afk in the dungeon wouldn't be able to simply reduce a three week event into a weekend. They likely always planned to adjust gains to make sure the last objective would be completed in the last week. All the community was likely expected to do was the weekly bounty for each of their characters and use the ship and we still would have completed it around the same time.

The Most Logical outcome was a Few Exotic Items, Few Eververse Items, a Couple of Weapons. And it was correct. 4.(1) the Hype was Artificial because we saw, oh, it's Outlined as an Exotic. So False Expectations were made. This what happens when you set Unreal Expectations, Turn a Theory into Fact without any Proof to back it up. You become.... Disappointed. In a way, it was like a Video Game Christmas, and not getting the Gift(PS5) you wanted.......😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣

That’s what we getting for trusting Bungie lame a$$. They are trash and a bunch of idiots. When it was those seraph tower community event people got felwinters lie which I missed. I grind this event and get this garbage. Antaeus ward boots let me add that to my collection. I don’t know what’s up with you losers are Bungie but I’m not grinding anymore of these stupid event unless you make it clear what the prize will be. You bums can’t be trusted.

This final "gift" from Dawning is a microcosm for how little Bungie's upper echelon now cares about it's player base on a larger scale. If anything it's a telling, ominous foreshadowing of the horrid quality of content we can expect coming from that whole future "evolution" shtick Bungo keeps conning people with, while they're busy making the next batch of 15$ emotes for Everpurse to appease all the fanboi cultists who can't wait to throw their parents money at Tess. #JustSaying Sad. Truly.

1 RespuestaYeah, not going to lie, I returned to this game after Cyberpunk was broken and I have been having a blast but... I am now starting to figure out all of the typical shortcuts and laziness from devs once I've hit cap and got caught up with past missions. I kept thinking to myself, "why do I keep getting the same few guns" then I realized that's all there is. Not to mention the impossibility of getting certain important mods without having to check a bot daily on twitter. The fact that bungie though this was anyway fun is beyond head scratching. And yeah, opening up the dawning thing was kind of the straw that broke the camel's back and brought me here.

Anything we do after start is aimed for new lights of beginners. This game is just a money making machine anymore, that tries to lure fresh baits into buying something, anything.

Lol this poor playerbase gets nothing but abused and robbed time and time again. The passion this community has for this game has been wasted over and over again because of the devs plain and simple they never give us what we ask or pay for no matter HOW VOCAL WE ARE. I only hope one day this playerbase can put this starry eyed hope into a game that will reciprocate the effort and money we put in. It’s sad to see many MANY players on their last leg with playing and be so frustrated after playing for so many years...it feels wasted but we are depressingly hopeful. Sigh, video games 😐

1 RespuestaLike what were people expecting and how was this whole thing hard work? I completed every triumph mid way through week 2 of it without having to farm anything. I literally just played the game and every now and then went into the oven to make cookies. This isn't a defending bungie post ( although it probably looks like it) but people are being so dramatic lol

If you honestly thought this event was going to give something special, you must be new here. If you're not new, you must be blind, an idiot, or an ass kisser. This seasonal event, no, every seasonal event before and after this one, isn't going to reward something unique or special. As many others have said, if you want to send a message to Bungie, one that's loud and clear, you had to have failed this event. Bungie knows now they can manipulate the players. Not reveal the reward, increase generation to 3x, generate FOMO. They know how to trick players into playing their bullshit. Even if it means missing out on something big, you have to fail the next community event.

I think the actual exclusive reward was the shader from the triumph for completing it. That’s what I think bungie expected from your hard work. Sad... Isn’t it?

I agree, everyone was so hyped because the last time that a community quest happened we got a weapon returning from d1. But to have a random exotic that guardians already have is not only lazy it's ridiculously stupid. They could have had something great but this is just a disappointment and a waste of time .
