14 RespuestasSunset my gear, sunset my business.

It'll survive sunsetting
-
Sunsetting weapons is something I can tolerate, but sunsetting armor is too much.
-
Why are people still beating this dead horse it’s already implemented and there’s no stopping it now

Get rid of Stasis in PvP

shut up peasant

I can move past sunsetting but the problem is there are no guns to replace it. Where are my aggressive frame sidearms? 200rpm energy scouts? Kinetic grenade launchers? Its empty and I just don't understand how they'd get rid of all that and not replace it with anything.

10 RespuestasI'm sorry, not even that is going to help anything in this game when the core of the game is literally broken. Yeah yeah, I know, I'm a bad person for saying that... You guys are so hell-bent on one thing that you're literally ignoring the issues with this game. (Yes, this is my opinion.) Can somone tell me how undoing the sunsetting is going to fix the broken loot system? The progress in this game knowing it's supposed to move forward but there is literally no progress being reset every 3 months? No replayable content, just useless bounties to keep the grind going? How the pinnacle drop in this game is only an extra grind that is a waste of time once you hit the hard cap? The mass amount of copy and paste content leading us nowhere in this game? Only having 1 destination relevant out of the entire game that Bungie made 90% of the game literally pointless to even play? Undoing the sunsetting will do absolutely nothing for this game at all that you guys should be asking for a hell of a lot more than the scraps off of Bungie's table.

9 RespuestasI stopped playing after I found out how much content would be removed. Activities I loved are gone from the game. It is pointless playing it now.

The game isn’t going to die because of sunsetting. People like you play everyday and still buy every expansion when it comes out.

9 RespuestasHi, you must be new to MMO type games. So here's something you most likely never knew: Weapons and armor becoming useless after so long is NORMAL. That raid armor/weapon you chased so hard, well it's gonna be useless eventually because something better will come along, and you'll chase that. This is a normal aspect of MMOs, and helps to keep player interest. The only difference in Destiny, is that we don't have traditional stat boosting levels to grind. Instead of having to get our levels up to obtain that gear, we grind for gear to obtain higher power levels. "Sunsetting" is a normal part of any MMO, and destiny, like it or not, is an MMO. Now stop crying, or go play something else, because sunsetting will not kill this game, but people being entitled will.

Disliked and muted.

2 RespuestasSunsetting is fine, and albeit needed, but its flaw is the lack of loot to offset it
-
I believe that sun setting is the play here. If we could get a larger amount of loot I think the community wouldn’t be as upset. Bungie is trying though.

Sunsetting isn't the main problem. Sunsetting would be fine if they fixed the growing pains of sunsetting. 1) Have new armor just have higher stats. Seriously, increase the stat caps for armor as time goes on in the end game and give them inherent perks to slowly power creep them a bit. Of all things that should have more strength its armor. 2) More core weapons every yearly expansion/season. If you keep a healthy ecosystem of weapons coming in and out the pain of sunsetting wouldn't be so dog crap. 3) Make getting Prisms and Ascendant shards easier so it doesn't feel as painful seeing gear sunset when you can replace it easier. There are more ways I can go on how to fix sunsetting but sunsetting isn't why Destiny is bleeding players. 1. The "new" activities aren't that great. You kinda don't want to grind them because they aren't fun or challenging to do it the right way. 2. End game makes no sense. Why is the raid not the pinnacle end game activity anymore but instead GM nightfalls or Master nightfalls? 3. Champions, or more acurately relying far too much on champions to make 'hard modes' instead of actual meaningful changes. 4. Grinding just to grind. Seriously I struggle now to see the reason why to grind anymore. Why care about a build when they just are uninteresting? More damage isn't really peaking my interest.

2 Respuestaswhy are people still beating this horse?
-
I see the pompous crew have arrived against you already
-
There mistake was doing it all at once plenty of games kick old content and do fine. Bungie just jumped the start line and did to much to soon. With the extra two months they should have either made new stuff or brought in more d1 stuff.
-
Sunsetting is fine if it's done right. Which right now in Luke's hands it is not being done right.

Destiny makes money for Bungie while developing Matter. Pretty hard to use resources that don’t exist, so Destiny is that stream of resources. Otherwise, they’re developing a game while having zero income (hard to do). They’re doing bare minimum for Destiny to keep revenue coming in. This isn’t to say they don’t care about Destiny at all, they just really don’t RIGHT NOW.

Is wittle baby upsetty?

2 RespuestasThey don't all focus is on Matter

This Games just a cash iv to their new ip if you didn’t already know, they have a roadmap for destiny for the next 3 years but after that the game will probably be left to rot, they are pumping fresh cash into their studio with their minimum effort maximum price game model, and transferring that to the corporate executives and their development department where they need that cash for future development that they hope will produce a title that can spawn a new franchise and pull their name out of the mud. If they do anything like they did with Destiny, then bungie is going to merge into a different company via being bought sold, or just outright collapse.
