Apparently Shatterdive has damage reduction
Thanks to DNFP for confirming what I’ve long suspected. As it appears, Shatterdive has no cooldown, has dmg reduction, is a movement ability and has huge radius.
It’s not enough that it’s able to 1 shot people in combination with a glacier grenade in a huge radius but it also has like 50% damage reduction as well? Bungie, are you out of your mind?

Hunters have one, often leaning their melee abilitys towards utility which shatterdive does. It provides unique identity to the class and gives an aerial move, which titans & warlocks have had but hunters have not. Its unique while creating parity. Not over powered, unless you consider titan/warlock aerial moves over powered & titan/warlock one hit melees over powered. Now the Fragment "Whisper of Fissures" is another story. Reduce the radius bonus it provides by 8-13%?

No non-super ability should have damage reduction unless the ability is designed to help survivability. A quick slam with little end lag on hitting the ground doesn't really qualify to me as a defensive ability so I don't think it should have it. Doesn't really even matter though if they do get rid of it because it's not the easiest thing to react to anyways.

Biased, salty, and can do the same thing. The damage reduction is short and at start. You are vulnerable in air. Some act like its there throughout v When the hunter gets nerfed, the other 2 will follow right after. Because they are all broken. Even top tree dawn will get nerfed. Circle jerk of nerf continues.
