I know it's 3 hours, but seriously it is a super important topic and might just be the most interesting and engaging 3 hour video you ever listen to.
Edit: If you guys don't believe me, just read a few of the top comments for the vid and realize how many other people feel the same.)
(**UPDATE: Since 3 hours seems too long for most people, the first couple hours are mostly testimonial and background scientific research/explanation. Starting from 1:53:17 is what I would consider the most important bit.)
BDobbins has always given some of the most brutally honest critiques of games (including Destiny) and he does not dissapoint with this one. Except...this time the game he is critiquing is the US/global work, education, and economic structure.
If you have more questions or want the TL;DR, ask below and I shall provide. Also feel free to discuss the vid here, there is a toooon to discuss about this one!
Thanks for being gamers and awesome people!

4 RespuestasGaming in general is a hobby. It is a time waster, much like how watching TV or reading books are. It has its pros and cons just as every hobby does, depending on the person. Much like everything else, devoting too much time to a hobby is considered being unwell. We all know the trope where one guy is interested in a subject, like researching the occult, and so he dabbles in it. Where he dabbles in it to the point where it takes up more and more of his time, until it's all he ever does. Moderation is important. Too much water and you'll suddenly find yourself without air.

3 RespuestasBased on your TLDR it’s nothing I haven’t heard or thought about before, people have been saying these things for years. I don’t disagree with most of the things these people say about the way the world works/is run, but I do tend to not share their gloomy outlook of the future or their reasoning that the inevitable solution if nothing is done soon will be some sort of violent revolution. That makes sense in the classic socialist sense but I just don’t think the world works that way, at least not in the sense that such an eventuality would actually solve the problem.

1 RespuestaAt 3 hours I'm gonna pass. I doubt he has anything to say that Jim Sterling hasn't been saying for years and that's 3 hours I could spend catching up on a show.
