Bungie you have already removed a lot of content from your game, from planets to sunsetting and making forsaken and shadowkeep worthless DLC, but if you remove SUPERS from destiny then that's where your game will DIE, every class has its own personal feel to it already, don't get in over your head with this. Let me show you what will work though if you want everything to have its own feel.
Stasis has its customization and so should Light Subclasses, so make the supers choose-able in the light screen, so its not a "Tree Node" deal and its more like the D1 Format of customizability. We choose our jump, our grenades, in destiny 1 we were able to choose our melee, now make it so we can choose our super like how we did those, so Dawnblade for example, bring back preforsaken Dawn Blade Attunement of the Warrior, so we have the flight capabilities of Sky and the Fighting capabilities of Warrior merging them into one, then have Well of Radiance as another subclass, then have Radiance or "Self-Res" as we called it in D1 as a third option to be able to use, then allow us to choose the grenade, melee, jump, and perks of the class. So we can run Radiance with the 3 Balls of Fire melee for Attunement of Sky and then Solar grenades with the perks of the In Air Dodge the Healing Grenades and the benevolent dawn.
Another Example would be for Titan, and this one will be more fun, First would be Banner Shield with 2 shield throw charges, mixing Bottom and Middle Tree, Second would be Ward of Dawn, and third would be a Void 1 handed axe and the titan sentinel shield, the axe is used in the light combo and can be thrown while the shield is specifically for blocking like how bottom tree sentinel is used, the Axe is like the Middle Tree Hammers so it has to be picked up if thrown, the axe does more damage for combos and throwing then the shield.
One more example and this time for Hunter, is a going to be fun for me, first is Arc Staff obviously, spinney staff and way of the wind so you can take less damage while dodging making it a strong super in pvp and pve, next is Arc Blade, allowing hunter to be quicker than spectral blades and have the ability to go invisible without turning the screen purple and making lots of noise, then the last super is another custom one, Raijin Judgement, allows the hunter to make an Arc Naginata that works in a mix of Arc Blade and Arc Staff, the Naginata is a higher damage with slower combos that arc more, when you move there is no dodge but there is the fast sprint speed, but not as fast as arc blade. Its mainly used for clearing out rooms of players/additional enemies quickly, the more kills you get with the Naginata the more super energy you get back up to 25%
Golden Gun is one I cant stress enough, Do not remove bottom or top tree golden gun, make them separate parts but maybe a new skin to bottom tree, maybe a semi automatic Rifle with 3 shots and a longer zoom, and Golden Gun bottom tree can stay the 6 shot fire from the hip yee-haw style. Both being 2 out of the 3 subclasses to choose from and then last but not least Blade Barrage.
Hopefully you get the picture of the idea that I got in mind for destiny, if you follow through with what you're doing now Destiny will die, there's no ifs or buts, Bungie you're being the downfall of your own game with the massive amount of removed content, so please hear out the community cause we love destiny, just not the way its being treated and dealt with. Destiny is the game with the most potential out there, that's why Destiny 1 was a huge success, you put that potential to good work and use, you're failing with Destiny 2 because you keep trying to change things that shouldn't be changed, like on release you removed customization of subclasses making Destiny 2 already worse than Destiny 1, just listen to the community, not the toxic streamers or the children who want the game too easy for its own good, the people who care about Destiny. Let Destiny live up to what we have wanted it to be. I know you wont read this either but may as well try. Good Luck, hopefully you down collapse your game on itself

5 RespuestasIf you are asking for the D1 style for supers then they are doing exactly what you are asking. D1 only had one super for each element. In D2 they destroyed this system and introduced multiple supers per element. I agree to an extent that the current supers should be preserved, even if they are preserved solely as an artifact, but I do see the side of wanting to simplify things back to “Oh so that is the void warlock super.” Not the “Oh, so which void warlock super is that.” I feel like the only way they could appease people is if they were to introduce completely new supers for each class and somehow merge the characteristics of each tree into one. Or for the warlocks, just bring back self res.

2 RespuestasEditado por SILLABYSS: 12/17/2020 4:49:54 AMInstead of walls of text like this it may be time to move on...this game is devolving into a shell of what it used to be... I think it’s safe to say the best years of this game are well behind them... get used to Bungie finding new and fun ways to sell you back what you already have...

14 RespuestasIf nothing changes. Nothing changes. I swear I’ve never seen a community cry this much at every proposed change, and stubbornly fight against the game changing. You can’t remodel a house without RIPPING OUT THE OLD STUFF. If you try to put the new stuff in on top of the old stuff, you just get a mess. Let. The. Game. Change.

Editado por Sedge: 12/18/2020 12:23:48 PMIf we try to see IDENTITY to the classes and what we thought are suposed to be, those ideas like Golden Auto Rifle isn't good, hell even throwing dozen knives as the super isn't really fitting into the IDENTITY....the class name is GUNSLINGER, when you thought of gunslinger you think about a guy holding a Pistol/hand cannon. You think voidwalker you tought about someone that dives into the void, so i personally think the nova warp more inclined to the class (but both are in reality). You think danwblade, the thing that comes in mind is someone using sword to attack (not like a ranged attack that this game has), stormcaller super should be more like the revenant one but doing shock damage instead of freezing. Sunbreaker i think the middle tree is more defining. Striker base super is fine. Strider idk. Stalker by the name is more liely to have a super like the middle tree, but i like more a concept of having a hunter subclass that has a super with bow, because bows are hunter prefered weapon in a lot of games and ficitional universe. But even if it would be normal to have only one super per sub, i can''t deny that having the option to choose the super would be prefered, because like i said about the Stalker, both supers fit the concept. Voidwalker both supers too in my opinion fits, but others like Chaos Reach and the normal dawnblade super, in my opinion aren't in the theme. Unless they change Dawnblade super should have melee and ranged button, ranged keep what it is now, Melee button would deal heavier damage at close, but consume more, should be a good tool for pve.

They already are the bane, or simply just one bloke

8 RespuestasIf he implements this, it will break the lore in a huge way (not that it matters). Think about all the cool missions we did to regain our powers from light and stupid ball in the sky. It just belittles it. Lore apart, it breaks the space magic element of the game IMHO. Yes, some abilities are underused but removing them is pointless as it removes a play style. Sunsetting on weapons armour, planets so far has only revealed LS intentions to resell the same old content as new reskins. So, if sunset supers will eventually come back as a DLC of 'Beyong Darkness', which I'm sure is the visible pattern now, then this stinks of poo to me.

Is it true there going to get rid of nova warp for warlocks

2 RespuestasLoL The ScarabLord doesn’t care what the playerbase wants. He’s said it repeatedly but no one hears it. How he puts things is GLARING! He has his Vision of what he wants this game to be And it Does NOT include our popular opinions.

1 RespuestaI'll admit I did read you post because it's already happening. DLC are light, buggy and underwhelming. Then add the seasonal model that foces certain loadouts. What happend to play the way we want?
-
It’s in their nature to shoot them selves in the foot.

1 RespuestaNobody seen this coming? Really? One of their future expansions is called 'Light Fall'. That in itself suggests that we won't have access to any Light soon enough. Added to the comment by Luke Smith months ago of "Destiny players won't see what's coming next for the future of Destiny". Alarm bells start ringing. I weirdly had a feeling he'd start removing Supers and push the Darkness more. What it seems to me is that he wants to make Light Supers streamlined and basic, and potentially terrible for free players to be stuck with in an attempt to push sales on their Pay2Win expansion based Supers, like Stasis currently is. I'm calling it right now. This is what's happening.

You really have to wonder if they are trying to make the game fail for some tax write off.
-
auto rifle golden gun gives me a bit of a boner. Think about it... I can already see the hate mail after going flawless on a squad wipe with the thing.
-
I like the ideas apart from an auto rifle golden gun that’s a no For arc staff I wouldn’t even mind if they copied the rasputin javelin and gave hunters a projectile super Titans could have one where it has the same animation as bubble but instead it push ppl away like that heavy shotgun but to a higher extent to they can die of wall impft damage and suppresses them for a couple seconds and u the effects aren’t as harsh the further away from the Titan you are Also hunters should be given a dash melee ability like genji from overwatch

Editado por Hesh: 12/16/2020 10:57:41 PMWhatever do ya mean? Bungo’s always been the bane of this pathetic excuse of a game franchise. And now it’s simply far too late. They deserve what is about to happen to the game by ‘ol Lukey’s hand. After all, they did it to themselves! Hahahahahah! I can’t wait! (Oh dear, this one actually thinks D1 was a huge success! Hahahahah!)

2 RespuestasOp: "Don't be the bane of Destiny." Bungie: "Always have been."

You think darkness is your ally. You've merely adapted the dark. I was born in it, molded by it. I didn't see the light until I was a man and by then it was only blinding.
