The Hunter jump/shotgun combo alone gives it an advantage over the other classes in pvp.
On console, you LITERALLY can look up fast enough to counter it.
While all classes have their good pvp combos hunters have the advantage due to the state of shotguns.

And Warlocks with the fastest movement across the xy-plane doesn't give them an advantage? Dawnblade has the highest average KDA of all subclasses right now. What about Titans and the literally get out of jail free card that is the Behemoth melee? It can get out of duskfield grenades, something that not even Stormcaller blink can do. I swear anyone who says *insert any class here* is OP either hasn't played it or is too biased to even consider any other alternative.

Like I said, all classes have their own advantages. At the moment though, the most deadly in crucible are definitely hunters with their jump speed and shotgun usability. Warlocks are only super fast horizontally and that doesn’t do much good in pvp in the middle of a fight. A Titan melee on ONE subclass may be a get out of jail free card when it’s charged and in only certain situations. I get people get defensive when their main class gets attacked but you seriously need to relax and realize why hunters are the most popular.

On PC, the top 3 KD classes are from only Warlock and Titans. No Hunters in the top 3. On Console, the top one and the third are Warlock and the second highest is Hunter. This is also likely to change soon once everyone shifts to next gen with the FoV slider. Popularity shows simular trends on both platforms. More Warlock amd Titan classes present in top 3 than Hunter, depending on the platform. The Warlock dodge is very useful mid gunfight. Saying anything else exposes your lack of exposure or understanding of its capabilities. The Behemoth melee can get out of literally everything in the game (nothing else can do that without an exotic at least), and you and I both know reducing melee cooldowns isn't hard. Now, does Hunter movement synergize with shotties the best? Yes. But the stats don't say Hunters are the best or even the most popular in PvP. They're middle of the road to above average. Now overall stats including PvE, yeah. Hunters take the cake. But PvE isn't the discussion here.

Right because the three people who play pc are a representation of the everyone else who is on console... The most popular on console is arcstider and for good reason. It’s clear you will keep using bad info just to convince yourself your class is not op but there’s obviously no helping you.

You literally just ignored 75% of my reply. I listed console stats too. If Arcstrider is "OP" because it is number one in popularity, why is it that is has a lower KDA than Dawnblades on console? Your "logic" falls flat right there.

Warlock dawnblade has had the highest/second highest PVP winrate (Havoc Titans were #1 in 2018 and Dawnblade was #2) over the last 2 years and yet everyone complains about hunters being op.

That’s because most players are just average Joe’s getting glacier grenade shatter dived or similar by the most most popular edgy named class and it seems too strong to them.

It helps having the new 105 fov. Rarely get jumped on by hunters anymore. Just shatterdive wombo is annoying to deal with.

I feel like the real problem in that would just be the sensitivity,it doesn’t allow you to look up fast enough even if you’re running it at 10,I always run it at max and it feels clunky compared to any other FPS.
