Outbreak: Still the best Pulse in the game? Will we get another chance at the catalyst?
I don't have the catalyst, took me forever to get one run through for the pulse itself. (Pretty bad at jumping :-) )
The weapon still seems to be the best pulse in the game.
Thoughts?
Also, will we see a new way to get the catalyst?

I think if you got NTTE it might be better than Outbreak. Constant precision hits reload the magazine and refreshes the time for your little buddy to shoot along side you. I was doing precision dps on a boss and I didn’t have to reload for a while. And the time warp was doing extra damage and keeping some adds away from me.

I got the catalyst before beyond light but never completed it, once beyond light went live it auto completed the catalyst

“Sorry, shoulda gotten it when you had the chance” - Bungie probably All I’ve heard so far is that they are prioritizing whisper and outbreak to come back, since the catalysts add a lot to the weapon. But sadly that could take multiple seasons before we get secret missions back in new spots

Bungie has come out and did tell us that the catalyst will be available in a nother way somewhere in the future. Aka we don’t know

If you had the incomplete catalyst quest, then with beyond light they changed the completion to need a lot of headshots instead of running the now removed quest. I imagine they’ll put the quest back. Since the main part is in the tower they can probably just reshuffle the Titan steps to be something on a Europa or whatever. Here’s to hoping. And again. Outbreak perfected is best pulse rifle. Ever.

Bungie has stated they have plans to reintroduce catalysts that were vaulted in the future but we have no timeline for when or how they will be reintroduced.

They said catalysts like Outbreak's and others who's method of obtaining were sunset will be made available elsewhere eventually. Wouldn't count on that happening any time soon though.
