The new Bow drops on Europa. There is another bow that you can get in the secondary slot that isnt sunsetted, cant remember the name atm. I think its Arsenic bite.

Ok, I thought the power caps were related to seasons. Apparently they aren't always. Tyranny from heaven should have a power cap of 1060 but it has a cap of 1410. Now as a look at a bungie article and my collections there are now 5 bows that can be ranked up into the 1300's or 1400's. There were only 2 I could find before. Some are season 9. If there season 9 weapons will I still only be able to get them on Europa??

Each piece of gear going forward will be good for one year basically then it reaches its power cap, then we get to re-grind for weapons and armor again.

TY ....way to complicated for the casual gamer. As a terrific shooter, weapons should not be power capped or sun setted. Just me.

I think sunsetting was a bad idea. I’m adapting to new weapons now, but it sucks knowing they’ll be capped a year from now. I like games like Destiny, where weapons can feel meaningful, like something to be proud of, like it’s your own. But with each release for Destiny, that feeling is thrown down the pipe more and more. Starting to feel like I’m playing with rentals now.

Exactly. TY....I just don't feel like going thru all that again. I'm sure I'll play it again sometime but I need a break. I was just feeling great about my loadout lol, and then I figure out there pretty much useless unless I play old content. Not being able to buy legendary shards hurts my casual play also. Another bad move and 30 shards for a core is outrageous even though it doesn't go up. I see people all over the place with thousands of shards, hardcore players. That just isn't me.
