I had the same issue but seems I had good luck getting cloudstrike. Got cloudstrike on my 3rd try and yet my clanmates took 30+ each. I know its not the same but yea rng is rng.

Wait you have to struggle Multiple times doing the same lost sector just for a chance at the new armor exotics? Man -blam!- this game. It would have been nice to just make it a quest or just very random drops. Bungie is continuously killing their game.

The chances of getting an exotic at all is like 1/6 in my experience. The two days I have farmed legend lost sectors: Perdition, Helmet: Did 4 runs, no drop. Bunker E15, Gauntlets: Got Necrotic grip on my 7th try. Needs to be like 1/3 to get people to actually repeat farm them.
