Eh destiny has way to many factors making pvp a mess.
Wild Armor stats, wild weapon stats, lag, random spawns, small maps, fast movement, and supers.
Imagine a small room, put in six people, give them all a m67 hand grenade and try to call anything that happens skill.

Skill would be the person who manages to convince everyone to stand in one corner and not use their grenade while they use sleight of hand to drop their live grenade behind them and haul ass to the other side of the room.

Well now that you have established the meta expect a “balancing” nerf that that lowers the ceiling to the point where you are all squished to make the meta a more risky tactic.
