I just had some lore to add:
"Did you ever hear the Tragedy of Oryx, the Taken King? I thought not. It's not a story the Vanguard would tell you. It's a Hive legend. Oryx was the king of the Taken, so powerful and so wise he could use the Deep to Take... He had such a knowledge of the Deep that he could even keep his subjects from dying. The Deep was a pathway to many abilities considered to be unnatural. He became so powerful... the only thing he was afraid of was losing his power, which eventually, of course, he did. Unfortunately, he made an enemy of the guardians and they killed him in his own Dreadnaught. It's ironic he could save others from death, but not himself." - Nokris, Herald of Xol

3 RespuestasI've been binging all the star wars movies, & the original trilogy is by far the worst. Anyway, I think it's cool that Rey ends up using both the dark & light sides of the force, but I still don't get why she changed her name. Also, bringing Palpatine back was stupid.

“To cheat death is a power only one has achieved.”

A surprise to be sure, but a welcome one.

8 RespuestasEditado por Doc Walker: 8/11/2020 2:06:45 AMOryx was a pu$$y according to the story mission. If he was so powerful then weak guardians shouldn’t have stood a chance.
-
Yeah he did. The put his soul into a weapon and therefore lives forever and eats away from the guardian who wields the gun
-
You post this as a joke, a meme, but really? Oryx and his sisters are, originally, quite tragic figures.

1 RespuestaI'm still holding on to the theory that Savathun wanted to summon something that deep in the ascendant plane in the DC. We. Shall. See.
-
Oryx was a fool to occupy that power himself. Even he said it was unsustainable and insatiable. This is why he personally says that Savathûn was the stronger of them all, and I would say that he's right.

Editado por NinjaW/ramen: 8/11/2020 12:03:44 AMYou are a genius and have my highest respect. EDIT: Hold up, according to this lore, we become the Lord of the Hive. Adopting children of the Hive to succeed us.
