Iron Dumpster Fire and CBMM
Before my rant, let's get this out of the way for the Sweat Lords:

First, I am mostly a solo player, so Iron Banner is the one source of pinnacle gear for me that is easily accessible. I used to really enjoy playing Iron Banner but after this week, I am only going to play to complete the bounties and that's it. It seems 80% of the matches: are you get crushed or you crush the other team. HEY BUNGIE, how hard would it be after this season to release charts showing Mercy's in season 10 and season 11 in IB????
Sucks. Yeah! A six stack of sweat lords against me and 5 random players. How fast will the mercy be this time? So much FUN! Get farmed, livestock!
I am 500 hours into this game, so I like to think I am a decent player, but Destiny Tracker stats say that I am slightly below average PVP. And the drop in KD for IB from season 10 to 11 is revealing.
Blah, Blah, SBMM carried you. What's a better strategy? Get better over time vs similar skilled players or get pub stomped every game. GIT GUD SCRUB.
So, no more PVP CBMM( even Control quick play sucks) and I am off to pay elimination and survivor (my last few games were terrible, I am working on 100 precision hand cannon kills).
Oh, and thanks for sun setting my armor, I am really glad I took the time to find high stat rolls and then master worked them. F... U....N !!!! (Actually, just the first two letters).

Don't waste your breathe bro. It's just like Twitter here. All of the CBMM aimbotters will shout you down and tell you how awesome CBMM is and that you suck at life. You're 100% right, CBMM is a dumpster fire and everyone knows it. Bungie knows it, the sweat lords know it, the streamers know it. Problem is, they love it! "SBMM stinks because every match is sweaty." Guess what? It is for EVERYONE, but it's actually fun because you're playing on your own level. Let's fix it!I know how, let's put the guys who play church softball in with the MLB farm teams, they'll love it and eventually get gud by getting wrecked every game. PERFECT! My advice to you is to stop playing CBMM crucible. If everyone stops playing those game types or suffering through the bare minimum, the CBMM lovers will be back to the same situation, playing with themselves. If you need people to Raid or roll a dungeon with, hit me up. There are so many actually fun activities to get pinnacles. Iron banner used to be fun, even in D1. Not anymore my friend.

2 RespuestasI mostly solo too. If you don't like playing teams, why do you choose to do so. Use the tools Bungie gives you by looking at the roster. It shows who you're up against. If you're struggling, I can offer PvP tips. I don't mind cbmm.

4 RespuestasI play my iron banner all soli and about 10% of my games are mercy so not too bad. My connection and Q times have improved significantly since the swap to cbmm. I enjoy it much more now and I’m not punished for playing with lower skill friends anymore

1 RespuestaI remember when Iron Banner was first introduced it was billed as a team-centric event. Solos be warned. The rewards were much quicker to attain with a team vs going at it alone. I haven’t touched PvP in three seasons I’m a bit out touch with the current experience. The concept is the same though right?

Do like a vast majority of us and stop playing crucible. If it's not fun don't play. If enough of us quit playing, Bungie will take notice and make a change.

If you don’t know, you can go into the roster section while matchmaking is searching and see who you’re being matched with as they are being added to the lobby (unlike Quickplay). If you see that there’s a 6-man team added, hit that cancel button quick and try another search. You don’t need to take on these 6-man teams if you don’t want to. If you’re interested in improving you PvP performance I highly recommend checking out Coolguy, Ascendant Nomad and True Vanguard on YouTube for some excellent guides and tips that can really help

Checking your stats, yeah, sbmm carried you. But, cbmm isn’t hurting you. You are just below middle of the road. Most of your matches haven’t been blow outs. Play better.

Iron banner has always been a shitshow of 6 stacks using mountain top for the longest time. Cbmm has nothing to do with it.

If you think about it, CBMM is a form of SBMM. CBMM carry a value of 0-100 as opposed to 0-50 that SBMM brings to the table. 😁
