Why aren't headshots with a bow in PvP a one shot kill? Looking at the impact stat one would think that would be likely, and being a bow girl I've avidly used them all. In PvE I almost exclusively run bows and usually complete strikes and gambit with the most kills per game but in PvP they are more of a hindrance than a help. The draw time (even for the sub 600 draw) makes it useless for almost anything but sniping and even sniping requires 2 hits minimum on a full bar guardian... even with headshots. Could we maybe help even the playing field a smidge for the bow lovers in PvP scenarios? 1 shot kill for headshots would help dramatically. Thank you!

1 RespuestaThat would be about the most terrifying thing ever and crucible would be ruined It would be a primary ammo legendary sniper rifle that has more bullet magnetism and aim assist than a smart pistol or soldier 76’s ult

A one shot headshot would be extremely unbalanced, especially with wishender being able to see through walls. Could you imagine a sniper that takes primary ammo, can see through walls, has liitle to no reload, and one shot kills?

Bows are extremely easy to land a headshot and would be by far the most overpowered weapon type if they could one shot headshot. They would be like a low zoom sniper with primary ammo. It would be beyond overpowered. Bows can do it but they need a good perk/mod setup which is balanced. They have strengths like high burst damage and insta swap potential which helps keep them competetive

3 RespuestasLe Monarque will leave people with a nuthair of health if you hit a perfect draw. In a duel, a bow is like a slow peek-shooting weapon, but in a teamshooting scenario they are terrifying. They either leave teammates with an EZ cleanup, or they terminate someone who wasnt all that hurt.
