Posts about leaving the game
They’re all a million words long and very dramatic but I can see why now. Ngl I thought I would never leave this game, no matter how bad it got, but let’s be honest, it’s going slowly in anthem tier gameplay. Same boring stuff. Sucks but I’ve stopped playing for a month and I’m definitely happy I refunded my preorder. Gg boy-o’s

Also adding an old destination by removing content you paid for, leaving you with less content than you have now with the special privilege to pay their streamers. Why would you ever leave?

There’s literally ZERO need to post about other than to 1.) get yourself a bunch of attention to get that dopamine rush of “haha what loser fanboys” 2.) to rile up those “lower fanboys” into being angry at you for hating their precious little bungo.

7 RespuestasGood on you, man. It takes a lot of will power to go back on the pre-order hype. I mean, Bungie isn't dumb. They employ an entire department, which is dedicated to analyzing behavior, and making people more addicted to their game. Sadly, they're really good at it. Think about it; least season of the year comes out, you're hyped for the new content. Statler and Waldorf give a commentary about how the community 'isn't ready for what's coming'. They drop the fall trailer on you with all the cool bait material; slo-no slide firing an AR, mid jump super pops, dark villain figure being rushed. All the cool stuff. Oh my gosh.... the Hype! Most guys can't smash that pre-order fast enough. But you know what the best thing about the DLC push back is? The 2 months of dull at the end of the season. It gives people a chance to break the addiction. I'm fully expecting to see a ton of these, come September / October.

4 RespuestasI still play Anthem from time to time and the Anthem combat and gameplay is much better than this game. I don't get why ppl think destinys gameplay is top tier. Platforming and movement in this game is slow and clunky. I put my look sensitivity at 9 because if I set it at 10 it's 50 times more sensitive than it should be and if I set it and 6-8 it feels like it's in slow motion. This game has tons of weird mechanics like phantom bullets and bullet magnetism that I hate. At least in Anthem when you get a head shot it's a head shot not a body shot or a miss and when you miss it's not pulled perfectly into the head. Anthem has that same combo combat system as the mass effect games which is awesome. I wish destiny added in combos and damage modifiers. But yea I went off on a rant and this game is not good, it's been pretty bad for a while, at least a year.

3 RespuestasAnthem tried to pull a "Destiny" and they failed. Anthem Failed after just 1 month. They removed thier roadmap, and any future Content. People were leaving left and right. No idea why Bioware still believes that they can make a comeback, the damage is done. They should have stuck with Single Player Games. I'm not saying Destiny is perfect, but it still has no Contenders (In this Field/Concept)(BR don't count)

If anything it confirms what the major issues are with the player base and how it becomes frustrating. If they’re going to have an evolving world that’s active all the time, players have the right to put their 2 cents in. Destiny 2 was at its very best during Forsaken. It was for 2 reasons. 1) They delivered amazing content and a lot of it. 2) They implemented several changes that the player base wanted in the game. If players didn’t put their two cents in we might not have random rolls and many other changes that have improved the game. Lots of players talked about that as they were leaving year 1.

1 RespuestaI always interpreted the length of those posts to be in proportion to how much that person doesn’t want to stop playing. Then I stopped playing, and confirmed this with my own behavior on the forums. I won’t make an “I’m quitting” post, but I will now express my dissatisfaction on other threads. And it turns out I have a lot to say about [i]why[/i] the game I used to love and defend has lost its magic.
