Perhaps we could show a little apprecation in these mad times, I like this season and especially Umbral Engrams. I never had so many Legendary shards lol. :D

1 Respuestai like the mechanic of the umbral engrams; but again, its just another watered down version of the sundial mechanic that was pretty much perfected back in Dawn. Unfortunately, Bungie keeps taking 1 step forward and 2 steps back at almost every DLC or Expansion

Downvote because of a significant bug....I am unable to progress much of the seasonal content (decoding Umbral engrams, upgrading prismatic recaster, etc and complete weekly story quests, new mods and the new seasonal themed weapon grind). https://www.bungie.net/en/Forums/Post/256605559

It’s good, just not as great with the weapon leveling system. They brought back weapons from the old, but my old versions of certain weapons are not updated to the current seasons level system so they still need to fix that.

1 RespuestaI upvoted. Of the four seasons in this "new era" Arrivals has been (IMHO) by far and away the best one so far. I love Witherhoard and Ruinous Effigy and like you I like Umbral Engrams and the ability to focus them. Even the "grind" to update the recaster was OK (unlike Fractaline or Bunkers or whatever previously that was just plain tedious). I also like doing Means to an End on 3 characters each week. It's just the right level of challenge for a solo blueberry like me. So yeah I personally think they kept "the best to last" out of the four seasons since things switched to being seasonal. I'm guessing from the voting so far I may find myself in a minority of one though!

My favorite part of this season is the umbral loot system, this definitely should become a staple of destiny. I hate the new public event... i may be in the minority, but i do not find it enjoyable.

Despite there’s only one new raid (Garden of Salvation) this entire year, I do believe Bungie redeem this season with allowing us to farm the old raids before they are removed in the next dlc. Finally got the incentive to tackle Eater of Worlds and Spire of Stars considering I only started playing D2 when Forsaken came out. Also, can’t complain about the Umbral system. Don’t have to go through Tier III Reckoning to get a god roll Gnawing Hunger.

I like the story beats. I like the public event. The loot pursuit(not the loot itself) is over shadowed by sun-setting. The umbral engrams are fine, but I stopped turning them in because I didn't have access to all of the gear I wanted. When I hit 45 tonight and can get the pulse, I will start paying attention to them again.

The public event as actually fairly enjoyable IMO and the bounty grind is still there but almost completely optional (only seasonal bounties I've done for the past few weeks are the weeklies. I get enough of the others material without doing the dailies). Plus might i add, the world building, or ad bungie calls it the "evolving world" is absolutely amazing. Plus the weekly mission isn't all that bad and we FINALLY got some new, worthwhile weapons. Overall though, it's still pretty lackluster. Take the spectacle away and look at the seasonal activity for what it really is (even if it is more enjoyable than the rest), this season is still very bare bones and dry. A public event isn't enough to keep a season afloat and there aren't enough new weapons to chase for to warrant continued play. Again, the evolving world is being showed in full force here, but its really nothing more than something to look at. It looks friggin awesome, but its nothing more. Overall, best season this year and most enjoyable time aside from shadowkeep launch. Comparing it to the past though, still not great. I'll throw you the upvote cause I'm having somewhat of a good time with it at, least for right now

4 RespuestasLol you expect this site to show appreciation? You must be new around here. This seasons probably the best we’ve gotten in terms of content, even compared to season of opulence. But don’t expect this forum to acknowledge that. Hell a good portion of the people here haven’t even played the season.

I want to try the new dungeon soon. Finally had the incentive to beat garden of salvation. Beat it with an lfg group on the 2nd or 3 try. Cbmm doesn't bother me. I don't notice a difference. I still get my share of wins and kills. Still a value for my money for $10.
