Bumpity pothole bump!!!

It's much better than the ones before it I think. Even the gambit simulator is not bad.

Season’s solid. Best since undying, new weapons are interesting including perks. Story has got my attention and I hope this goes somewhere satisfying in future installments

This season by itself is pretty good considering all things from previous 2 seasons to the announcement of sunsetting. This season is giving us a great opportunity to replace our core loadout via the umbral engrams and the umbral recaster. There's a vast array of easily farmable and reasonably predetermined outcomes for umbral focused engrams (50/50). The contact activity is neat, nothing to keep a keen player there for longer than "means to an end" requires them to, but arguably better than seraph towers especially after going heroic. This season also brought us 2 new exotic weapons with very unique attributes. A blight launching GL and an orb producing TR certainly mixed things up. Overall, yes a pretty good season. I look forward to November and the big DLC

As crappy as the seasonal model is as a whole, at least Arrivals is doing well so far. The Recaster, although basically Bunker 2.0 and Obelisk 3.0 by proxy, is very solid because it allows us to actually narrow down the grind and makes it much easier to get certain weapons/armor. My only real problem with it is the stat focused armor being bugged, which I hope gets addressed. The Contact public event is still meh for a seasonal activity, but it's much better than Seraph Towers and the banter between Eris and Drifter is easily some of my favorite dialogue. The new seasonal weapons themselves aren't too bad either, especially the exotics. In fact, the only new weapon I find disappointing is Temptations Hook for being a worse Black Talon that just guzzles ammo. I haven't had a chance to try out the new dungeon yet as I've been hustling other stuff before S12, but I've heard good things about it so I hope to try it soon. My only major gripe so far besides the Recaster bug is the lootpool this season. I don't understand why Undying gear is even being put into the lootpool when it's getting sunset next season; just a waste of an umbral engram if you ask me. Another issue I have is that some of the reissued gear we got don't even have new perk rolls, which I find plain insulting since the only reason to grind for them at all is solely because of the damn lightgate system (which is already a joke). I want to mention vaulting here as well, but because of the limited information of what will happen to certain gear tied to these locations I am going to omit my opinion of this for the time being. I just hope Bungie gives us a new ad-grinding spot since The Whisper, EP, and Castellum will be going away next season; that leaves us with only the Shuro Chi & Shattered Throne Thrallways for decent grind spots, but those are limited to Forsaken holders.

Seasons alright. Definitely not as bad as the past two Season, holy shit, those sucked.

?? Its just a mash up of the last 3 or 4 seasons?? Other than 2 new exotics and 2 reused D1 swords.. its pretty flaccid. New Dungeon is nice.

I give Bungie, as a collective, a LOT of crap. But the devs, writers, system designers, art design teams, they all did great. This is a good season IMO

Destiny still has its fundamental issues. This game is buggy as -blam!- and the adds literally skate on the floor just so you don’t kill them so easily. Too much aim assist built into this game, look up with orbs and swords not even adjust target on add and you still get aim assisted toward them. Adds all around you from different angles and ranges and still don’t miss. This game isn’t about skill or how well you respond to sudden things.. it’s about how well you pair your mods/subclasses and so forth just to boost your RNG. You’re skill, especially people with console and average connection, is not tested, but how well you know the game is. You need mods, exotics, blah blah just to boost your lucky randomness

I find season on worthy are worst seasons

I like it. But I only returned a month ago after a long break, so there's a lot of new content for me. And I can only compare the current game to vanilla D2. Compared to vanilla D2 I'm positively surprised of what the game has become. It started out as a game made for casuals and pretty lackluster in terms of content. I'm happy to got my Guardian job back and I'm looking forward to future expansions.

Yes I agree I'm having a blast love trials even tho I'm losing 99% of the games ... I'm starting to love destiny again

Can we get an "I think its average at best" option?. Then again, the bar was set super low to begin with that I undertand people thinking this qualifies as "good".

Appreciation for what? There's almost nothing there. This just enables Bungie's behavior. Good job.
