Is this a rental service....i shredded my bow with 46k kills ....just to find the same role this season
Like seriously i thought this was to prevent power creep , but 2 days after I shreded my arsnic bite ...i find the exact role of the weapon with a different season tag....whats the point of saving weapons Whats the point of kill counters if your gonna take a gun away and re sell it to us?

1 RespuestaI don't know how anyone here that's not an employee alt can defend Bungie leadership. I'm sure ownership loves how they're improving profit margins and cutting production costs. But I don't see why the players would like anything they've been doing after Activision left. These decision have been their own and none of them benefit players or create a fun game to play.

1 RespuestaSad the kill counters WERE not linked by weapon. If you get 59k kills with the arsenic it should transfer over if you get a better roll. I made loads of posts about this and the need to stop having to manually switch the kill tracker from pve to pvp also. They never listened and implemented it.

2 RespuestasMy only questions are... Why did you shred a bow with that many kills on it before the end of this season (when the actual 'sunset' takes place)? Why did you shred a bow with that many kills on it that you could still use in lower end PvE activities and continue (if you use it in PvP) being a usable weapon in most PvP? Believe me, I completely understand your point but damn that's some kills on that thing. My favorite Gnawing Hunger has 15k on it and I recently found a damn near duplicate for it. I'm keeping both of them around for as long as I can.

MtG lets you use your beta Lightning Bolt in Standard if they reprint it. Bungie is nothing like WotC and never will be.

It seems that even very obvious needling is lost on some ppl 🤦♂️ And spelling jokes aside, yes it kind of is a rental service, in that you are paying to play a live game, of which the content is subject to change at any point. It's all in the EULA.

That was always the goal. It never had anything to do with powercreep or else exotics would need to be retired too.

I got an Arsenic Bite with the same rolls as my Subtle Calamity. Except precision bows have higher Impact and Accuracy than lightweight bows. So it's more like a worse version of my Subtle Calamity. Except my Subtle Calamity isn't going to survive sunsetting. Not to mention there's currently no random roll, precision frame world drop that'll survive sunsetting. Yay...
