Bungie right now this armor system is great but has its flaws right now certain mods are only tied to certain pieces of gear thats not a true MMO experience if we had the ability to equip all mods on all armor we would have umlimited player choice in build crafting and this can reduce clutter in our vaults also becuase we wouldnt have to keep so many diff sets of armor just for the mod that can only be applied to it
Armor would still be vaulable to chase becuase you still want high stat rolls so it kind of solves two problems in one instance idk just my thoughts

That'd be too fun. This game isn't built for that.
-
Community could not handle that, the ironically like grinding and don’t want to be too op.. we’ve seen this in the past especially in pvp
-
But then you might get your ultimate build and not play the extra 8hrs a day farming material and activities. Can't have that.

2 RespuestasLove your use of periods

lol lets go in gonna put all the charged with light mods on.
-
Time to equip 10 Special ammo Scavs and Telesto baybe! That would immediately break the game.
-
The energy cost on armor is there to balance mods. The stronger mods cost more than the weaker ones.

6 RespuestasDestiny isn't an mmo. You and everyone with like minds need to get rid of that narrative.
-
I'm pretty sure they said they tried this and the game kept crashing. So they had to limit it

3 RespuestasEditado por High Noon at Jötunn Saloon: 6/17/2020 10:47:18 PMI honestly stopped even paying attention. I use zero seasonal armor mods aside from oppressive darkness and armaments. And armaments will all be retired soon. I don't care what they do. I can easily do everything in the game without them. Theyre a joke to me.
-
I agree. Let us use the mods that we've collected on any armor instead of restricting the mods to specific seasonal armor. I'll deal with the elemental affinity system, but the current/previous/next season-only crap needs to go. It's a pain in the ass having to keep a set of armor for each elemental affinity and also for different seasons as well. I have to keep a set of gear from Dreaming City for Taken mods, a set from Shadowkeep/Opulence for Hive mods, as well as sets from other seasons just for newer seasonal mods... I only have the space to save sets for my main character, and it's getting out of hand!
-
My only gripe with the current system is the matching of mods and the elements on the armor. I understand the system but I don't understand why we have to limit the mods we put on our gear. If they would just get rid of the elemental requirements on armor/mods I'd be happy with that.

Their main focus used to be making us, the player, feel powerful. Now, it's undisputed, that their main focus is getting us to play their game for a long amount of time. Playing for a longer time will tempt players to buy Eververse items to make the amount of time wasted feel justified.

Fun? Bungie? Player Choice? Are you out of your mind!?
-
100% agree. Now that armor sunsetting is a thing, we shouldn't be limited in fun even more.
-
So dumb how I can’t have Better Already and Pump Action at the same time...
-
Ability to equip all slots exotic, no limits.

34 RespuestasI think my biggest issue with the system is the rather idiotic idea that the element of the armour matters. Like why on earth does the element limit what mod I can put on? It doesn't make any sense.
-
Editado por MimicWithAnIdentityCrisis: 6/18/2020 4:23:18 AMThis is coming in the fall, part of why armor is being sunset. To be specific, we will be able to apply any seasonal mod on any armor piece

WHAT!?! THING THAT IMPROVES PLAYER EXPERIENCE!?!? ON BUNGIE'S GAME!?!?! not happening.

Editado por Ondy: 6/17/2020 9:14:14 PMGreat analysis, all what’s left is balancing it. Destiny is not an MMO by the way. P.S. With the PC release, so many farmers and MMO enthusiasts appeared, with feedback such as “please give us a button that gives everything”.

1 RespuestaAbsolutely agree. While we're add it, add an additional seasonal mod that lets us equip barrier, overload and or unstoppable mods. That way we can use whatever weapons we want.
