I recently learned bungie removed SBMM, and im baffed why. Id have to say my time in the crucible over the weekend was horrible. There have been several matches where myself either solo que or fireteam que id get flawless trials players, or people rockin huge differences in my skill. Im all for getting better, but put me near who im skilled with so i can enjoy myself. Not feel like im just being destroyed. And its not just me, i see alot of my team just getting murdered. Getting mercies left and right. So its NOT fun. Its not worth me sitting in a que for 5 minutes or so to just be wrecked. When a couple weeks ago id do fine and enjoy myself. So other then the bare minimum to maximize my experiance and light raise ill not be participating in any crucible. Im also advising my clan to do the same.
If you make personal statements off topic of why sbmm should return or stay gone, then your unwanted in the post. Dont troll.

20 RespuestasBecause top tier players were tired of having to go against good people . They want to pub stop less skilled players .

4 RespuestasI think it's the greatest thing that's happened in months. Now if they could just get rid of the auto meta and give HC's their range back all will be right in the universe 😎

You could, and I’m just spitballin’ here, practice, get better, and stomp some teams of your own.

1 RespuestaBoycott crucible this season. Let the sweats play with each other

Elimination and survival has sbmm if you play those modes you will be ok.

15 RespuestasSBMM IS DUMB!!!! Glad it's gone, it essentially meant there was no incentive to improve at all
-
You can only learn from playing against people who are better than you.

1 RespuestaNot playing any crucible (may give iron banner a go) untill it's fixed

17 RespuestasTotally agree . Yes I am crap at crucible. (I am also possibly the oldest destiny 2 non casual player there is so I don't have the reaction times I had 40 or 50 years ago.) I never used to play crucible. With an average kd of 0.2 and frequent 'potato' or 'git gud' messages it was not fun. Then came SBMM . I improved. The crucible was somewhere I could train and get better. I earnt redrix, recluse and a couple of other weapons that previously had been unobtainable for me. My kd went to 1, 1.2 ,2,2.5 and then rightfully as I had improved was pitched against slightly less potato players and went down to about 1 again. It was challenging and fun. Now if i enter crucible I'm lucky to hit another player. It's rubbish that caters for top tier players again. I understand the need for connections (queuing etc) But couldn't we have one SBMM option. Don't try to convince me we have because I've played every option. Nearly all stacked teams and can barely get a shot off. If bungie can cater for sweats why not us low level players.??

1 RespuestaEditado por mj-starlight: 6/17/2020 5:28:42 AMThe big guy massacring the little guy - Bungie says so that they have fun - what kind of mentality is that? So the Pros beat little league - oh boy such and achievement! - ( being sarcastic ) that is abuse We should make a campaign “blueberries lives and fun matter too”
-
2 RespuestasThe only way to get SBMM back is to have your voice heard. Make post on the forum asking for sbmm back. Like all the post that want it back. And stop playing crucible. And tell your friends and have them spread the word. Don't play crucible, Show Bungie how we feel. Boycott crucible tell your friends

It's pvp. If you want to play against enemies with a fixed skill level you play Pve. Otherwise, stay out of Pvp. This is just how it is in every game that has both.

I played yesterday for the weekly and I have to say; wasn’t pretty. I witnessed the usual killed behind cover, two versus one melee deaths, almost a whole magazine of my Overflowed AR not even taking shields off only to be one-tapped by a Dire Promise, you know ‘working as intended’... As a solo player, it really is a horrible experience...I went to the Lighthouse a few times in D1; I felt like a clueless day one noob yesterday. No more PvP for me!!

Editado por BraddyBo: 6/17/2020 11:30:59 AMSbmm is only fair with both of the following: -Dedicated Servers -Tiered progression based on skill bracket (5-6 brackets based on elo/skill rating) —Increased XP/Valor/Tokens —Increased bounty/quest/triumph progression —Increased quantity/quality of loot
-
There are still sbmm playlists though.... if you really need your fix
-
They removed trials so all the sweats jumped into regular crucible since they had nothing to do all weekend... it’s frustrating for those who are not PvP focused... ignore PVP until Trials gets put back in the game... and there’s no loot really to chase there right now unless your finishing a quest
-
Fully agree.

57 RespuestasTo be real the only people who wanted it gone are the ones who didn’t want to verse people on their own skill level

4 RespuestasIf your going to come in here and be negative and tell me to get good, blah blah blah. Your posts will be deleted, reported and isnt needed. Make your own post supporting the removal of sbmm, i work for a living and have real life things that come before a video game. I play because i enjoy it, why should i need to go to a competative play mode to enjoy a quick game of crucible and expect it to be fair and fun? Thats not alot to ask for, and its not common sence to see why your negativity isnt needed either.

10 RespuestasBungie are simply catering to the sweaty "git gud" crowd who have been moaning forever that they have no option to "have fun" (which actually means they want a mode where they can stomp others basically). Of course reality is that a fair system would be to have two 6v6 classic mix style playlists; one for players who want SBMM and one for those who want CBMM just pick which you prefer. But... That won't work for the sweats because the players they want to kill farm will just go to the SBMM playlist and avoid it. Anyhow if I want fun in the crucible that's what SBMM was for. Mostly engaging matches, relatively even team wise and slowly I'd improve and as that happened the competition improved. If I wanted to go for high level challenging PVP though Survival and Trials were there. CBMM seems no better connection wise ironcially; match-makes no quicker (sometimes even slower) and often ends in mercies as one team annihilates the other. That's not engaging for the losing team; there's no thrill of a close run match that makes you want to beat them next time, it's just not fun. Like when they made this change before those of us who enjoy all content and play PvP for fun will avoid 6v6 after hitting 1050. Seems Bungie just wants to drive people away.

I fully agree. This is absolutely ridiculous. Crucible was actually fun when SBMM was active. CBMM is awful. It's either you get stomped or you're stomping. Either way it's no fun. I want to play teams who are almost evenly matched. I've played over 30 matches and there has only been 1 where it was close. The rest were huge leads on either side. Leads that would mercy on IB... It's absolutely stupid and uncalled for to remove it. I'm hailing from D1 TK and Vanilla D2

2 RespuestasThey need to improve SBMM. No one should face stacked teams when playing solo or go on 15 loss streaks.

3 RespuestasLol, I just won 5 straight after not playing for almost 2 years. Glad to see nothing’s changed with the PVE cryhards.
