Next time do your research, these changes will affect me as an endgame player, but I understand it is necessary in order for the game to move forward in a positive direction.
Nice try though :)
Edit: Speaking of your "endgame" prowess, I'm a little skeptical of your Flawless title...

That guy he plays with is cheating lmao .89 in d1 2.0 in d2 trials lmao!!!

If you were an endgame player you would understand that two separate sandboxes for balance is what's needed not dumb bs for artificial grind, and I'm a pve player so I dont care what you think about a flawless title that friends carried me to in return for raid help.....

I'll agree that two sandboxes would 100% help, but it would not solve the issue. At a minimum, Pinnacle weapons need to be addressed either through sunsetting or a straight nerf. Maybe you don't agree when it comes to Garden of Salvation, but if you attempted any Grandmaster Nightfalls, maybe it would make more sense. Mountaintop in particular makes these pieces of endgame content a complete joke, removing any level of difficulty to defeat champions. The same issue exists for other Legendaries in the game, even if to a much lesser extent. Why try to get another sniper rifle when you've already got the god roll Rapid Hit/Triple Tap Supremacy? Why go for another Hand Cannon when you've already got the god roll Rapid Hit/Kill Clip Spare Rations? Weapon loot has felt incredibly stale this year mostly due to the fact that we've already obtained the best versions of most weapons in the game; this cannot be fixed with changes to the sandbox.

Editado por Alleviate_Fate: 5/27/2020 5:47:06 PMI did a gm and it was just a boring slog hence why I didnt do anymore than 1, with weapons it's on the player to choose what they want to use, I have recluse and I have mountaintop do they come out occasionally sure, but in place of recluse I'd rather use my last hope or even my steel feather even in endgame content, as for mountaintop making things like gms easier that's easily addressed in two sandboxes nerf it's over all damage in pve and I can almost guarentee it doesnt see use, in pvp I feel it should be strong it was a pvp pinnacle after all. My normal loadout I'll just use GoS since you did is steelfeather emperors courtesy for soloing eyes and 1k or whisper on final boss I swap it up a bit and use either steelfeather trophy hunter 1k if I'm stuck on tether or izi last hope wendigo if im on boss team. As you can see I use alot of different weapons for just 1 raid, it's all player based on whats used. Even in pvp yes spare may be meta but what if someones absolute garbage with it and prefers summoner or thorn; I think you see my point if people weren't out here pushing videos of this is the absolute meta and best because it's what they like you may see some more diversity in loadout, until that goes away which it likely won't, all we can hope for is two separate sandboxes for actual balance. I think we see eye to eye its just you are more at terms of bungie backing out on a promise to the player than I am, I for one once this next season is over which I paid for am done it will be the first expansion I missed and the only time I've stepped away from destiny. To each his own though in my eyes a company is only as good as their word and bungie has proven for the last time they cant stick to theirs.

What I find interesting is that you are calling for a straight nerf to pinnacle weapons in the endgame sandbox, which is funny for two reasons: 1) generally the community complains about weapons (especially Pinnacle weapons) receiving these types of nerfs as it would make them less usable than other legendaries (meaning your solution would be received very poorly) and 2) your suggestion to nerf Pinnacle weapons in endgame content accomplishes the exact same goal as sunsetting, essentially removing Pinnacle weapons from endgame content. Maybe you misunderstand when I say something is meta, just because something is meta in endgame content doesn't mean it is the only viable loadout, of course there are a ton of viable weapons for endgame content, it just so happens that a select few of them tend to be used much more often because of their Pinnacle perks. We probably aren't going to go far with this discussion, we are both endgame players that fundamentally disagree on the concept of sunsetting.

I feel 1 weapon that is a pvp weapon nerfed in pve is fine vs nerfing everything that's alot better in my eyes. I do agree I dont think were coming to an agreement here. I do however find it interesting to see other opinions.
