I dont even know where to start breaking this down because everything ties into each other for why this season is terrible, but ima do my best to break this down. First off 95% of this posts DOES NOT apply to myself! (I would hope by the wording that would be implied but apperently not) this is about the NEW and casual player base who dont have what we have ... Champions are annoying IMO and should be locked into ths nightfalls BUT arent a problem for me so can we PLEASE STFU about that one f'ing paragraph?! Thank you ... The guns are trash: NOTHING about them makes them stand out against other weapons aside from the seasonal mods which are great BUT are far to restrictive for useability! Only 1 mod (that ISNT going to vanish at the end of the season) allows us to make the Warmind Cell without also using a 7th seraph weapon which forces us to use solar splash effects to use the other mods. On top of that the Cells dont seem to spawn regularly to make then viable in end game activities or even gambit. Someone said they spawn around 33% of the time? Aside from the seasonal mod, Tyrants surge there is no truly effective and reguler way to capitalize on the warmind mods that DOESNT restrict our options and even Tyrants surge forces players to use an arc subclass. Bunker arent casual player friendly: To even get into why, we have to first address the artifact mods. We essentially have to take EVERY anti-champion mod from the artifact becuase not everyone was playing during the last 3 seasons so they dont have Erianas Vow and cant get it now. Some people dont raid so they dont have Anarchy. Some people havent gotten Jotunn yet. Ext, ext, ext ... People arent considering the NEW, returning or time limited players ... But just missing one mod means we're limiting ourselves and making clearing the bunkers harder. I have FRIENDS who find clearing the bunkers either to difficult, time concuming, repetitive, or unrewarding that they haven't touched them since their first clear or finisjed upgrading them. They see no reason considering the rewards are trash, the mods are limiting, and the Seraph Towers have become a hellishly nightmare so many that has forced them to dedicate hours trying to put together a team on LFG. And to "keep" the bunkers clear we have to grind bounties to earn a currency. Yeah thats all we needed, a bounty to do an activity, that's fun right? Even better is having two overload champions teleporting, regining health, and spaming attacks from all directions. (Not everyone can solo these things!) And then we also have to deal with the suciable ads that are absolutely NOTHING more then bullet sponges! It shouldn't take 2 full clips to kill 1 Shank! This isnt a raid Bungie! The casual players best options are swords which if you run out of ammo for makes the champions even harder to kill because supers, heavy frames and the Valkyrie dont do anything to them! And the barrier champions just laughs at us as we throw the Valkyrie as it goes into its shell and DO NOTHING TO THEM! You could have at least made that of all things break it's shield bungie, come on now! And some of you need to get off your high horse of privilege and stop to think about the players who haven't earned the rewards that allow you to clear the bunkers as easily as you can. When the fourth Horseman came out I made it a point, even though I was nearly 40 points under level, to carry as many people through that lost sector as I could. In one day I carried nearly a hundred people, my friend's, clan mates, and anyone who asked! I made LFG posts all day to help people get that gun! Some of those people we're barely above 750 and couldn't even do damage to the red bar ads. Y'all need to stop and consider the community before posting here and insulting me without even knowing anything about the type of person I am ... (A little miffed about the insults ive been getting) And pease note the bunkers aren't "hard", more like annoying. Clear the bunker to buy a bounty to get a currency to buy a bounty to earn a gun that's not even good? Clear the bunker so you can do a legend lost sector to MAYBE earn a gun that's not good or more likely get a currency that you can earn doing LITERALLY anything else? The bounties ARE ANNOYING: We have to grind bounties to buy bounties to earn guns, clear and upgrade bunkers and you only earn 1 Encrypted Warmind bit per bounty meaning you either A, have to play all three characters daily to have enough to keep a single bunker clear for the week (and trust me as someone who plays 5-8 hours a day iv tried to keep all three clear) which leaves nothing left to buy the weapon bounties with or B, manually clear the bunkers daily to save the currency to buy the weapon bounties ... And we have to do this DAILY!? ... The casual player just doesnt want to have to keep doing this EACH AND EVERY SINGLE DAY! Especially not for trash rewards. Seraph Towers "require" 9 man teams to do: Hell even still iv seen 9 man teams coordinating their effects running the most OP builds imaginable still not get above 36%. Iv seen people setting titan barriers to blind the ads still get over run as they just go around or push right through them. The bosses cant be suppressed and Tractor Cannon doesn't seem to do anything to them. The bosses TOTALLY ignore you smashing their face in with a sword and push you aside as they rush into the zones. The ads come to fast to give people any time to assist the situation around them. The towers spawn the Orbs far to fast to give people a chance to throw them AND keep the ads off the zones. The faster you kill them, the faster they seem to spawn in actually, and all for what? Trash rewards? What the point? Watch how quickly they spawn in and tell me thats not harder then a raid encounter! I was TRYING to keep the ads off the other peoples backs so they could throw the orbs but they just couldn't do it fast enough and had to keep coming to help me deal with the bosses. GrandMaster lawlfall: Aside from "the challenge" and the title who's doing these? No really ... Is NO ONE going to comment on this? No? Ok ... Trials: I dont know what's worse the cheaters or the loot system ... You know what maybe its the fact people are being farmed by streamers for tokens ... The Bunker drop: How annoying is it to have to ride your sparrow into the bunker so you don't instantly die as you slam into Rasputins face sliding down the tunnel? Idk about you but that pisses me off. I'm glad the Frames (they get the credit, not bungie here lol) fixed the IO pipe that was hanging down because I gave up trying to upgrade that bunker until that pipe was removed. Oh and if anyone wants to argue that this season's guns aren't trash, why dont you go on YouTube and search "Destiny 2 7th seraph weapons" I'll have myself a good lawl as you realize NO ONE aside from DFP and I think Fallout has talked about these weapons ... If even they don't care why should we?
