[b]Kamina[/b] [i]I'm going to tell you something important now, so you better dig the wax out of those huge ears of yours and listen! The reputation of Team Gurren echoes far and wide. When they talk about its badass leader - the man of indomitable spirit and masculinity - they're talking about [b]this guy[/b]! The mighty Kamina![/i] Famous for his [i]many[/i] inspirational quotes and more so for his glasses and poses (as seen above). This guy is the epitome of "[i]I put all my points into Charisma![/i]" as well as always rolling a 20. Literally whatever comes out of his mouth could be put on an inspirational background and you wouldn't bat an eye. He's like the best big bro you'll never have! AKA Leader of Team Gurren, the self proclaimed Great Kamina, or "Bro" by Simon (the MC) [spoilers ahead] [spoiler]me pre-episode 8: He's so OP and likable I'm surprised they haven't ki- noooo kam- wait, he's still talkin- wait why's the screen turning white and blue? Me after episode 8: ;-;[/spoiler] [i]Row! Row! Fight The Power![/i] (•_• I can hear it... the transition audio) -- With this one I decided to do a half n half, [b]color[/b] and pencil. What really got me to do this was his glasses. THOSE GLASSES THOUGH! They're so shiny! And red. So yeah, I got to drawing him. Then about mid way, I realized it looked really nice using the blender to make it 3Dish. Unfortunately I'm not experienced in shading living beings so the thing that looks most real are the [i]pants[/i]... [b]They're nice pants ngl[/b]. The wraps too. I also got rid of the original sketch lines. Using the blender and inside color to make the shape instead of thin black lines. Again, worked on the pants, the body is different, but also worked a bit. I tried shaping out the chest and stomach a bit more. But seeing as I haven't seen a fit body as often (I'm too skinny, my dads not quite fit, and I don't have brothers.) plus the fact that I can't be bothered to look up fit guys without getting strange looks from the family and my FBI agent. ([i]How's your day going[/i]?) So I just winged it and...it... It could be worse. I do like the effect of the shine at his fingertip. (I'm starting to like my work on the hands...) so what if it ain't centered... it.. doesn't bother me! Not, one bit... My sister didn't have many light blues or reds. So those colors are a bit weird but I think I did alright with em. I also dwelled on the possibility of adding a background... NAH! Also, I decided not to add the cape because [i]thats the wrong scene![/i] this is a picture from episode one.
