Yeah, I'm wondering who is the bright Dev that said, hey! Let's put power level advantage in survival 🤦 GG devs 👍 Edit: It amazes me how people take what others say personal over a video game. Then they make a reply insulting whoever just to argue for the sake of arguing. It's only my opinion guys, relax, it's not the end of the world.

The big problem is the lack of people playing. Back when there was a lot of people playing this game I could set my Netduma's geo filter to 1500 KMs (west coast of North America) and get a full 6v6 match with great hit detection and no one teleporting around the map etc... Last Night however even with a 5000 KM setting (all of North America) I couldn't get a full match at the start, 4 on 4 at best (after waiting 5 mins), but with that the problem was lopsided teams as one by one people joined and sometimes playing the entire match 6 on 5 or 5 on 4. So to get a 6v6 I had to expand the region filter to 8500 KMs to include Europe too. I'm on the west coast of Canada. You can imagine the game play. The best part is when I don't use region filtering at all I'm matched with people in Australia, China, the Philippines etc... on a regular basis. The latency is huge and game play is terrible. Oh and I'm playing on PC.

Not arguing that there are issues (we all know issues is an understatement), but to compare it to Halo is a bit unfair. There is way more that goes into balancing Destiny than Halo ever had to deal with.

The only thing keeping me in is that I can shut down and T bag you assholes that use shotguns with my Wizened Rebuke. I’d much rather special ammo be less abundant, but it is what it is. I literally never run out of ammo for my one hit crutch. I haven’t stooped low enough to use Antaeus awards yet though.

sorry you have had a bad experience but all i do is pvp and yes i have dealt with connection issues hackers and lag but i still love it when it gets to much I log off for a bit and come back hope you find what you need or want in a game and if you come back we are here for ya.

Precisely. Losing glory points for something we have no control over is ridiculous. Running around like gods in one game and a box of rocks the next game. Most recent game, I two shot a guy with spare rations while I was running. First time i used that gun in weeks. Annihilating people with jade rabbit another gun I haven’t used in awhile. Turns to a bubble blower the next game as I get stomped by mida. I stopped worrying about k/d a couple of years ago. I’m just trying to get to legend. I think no one at bungie cares. Or it’s such a massive fix that we won’t see a difference until D3 comes out. But for now, there appears to be an s ton of people playing for free and maybe that’s all bungie cares about. When my son got the game in 2014, I enjoyed it soo much, I bought another Xbox and another Xbox live account. We even joined a clan. He comes and goes between playing other games and destiny. I only play destiny. I expect I will keep playing it until my fingers can’t push buttons. I just wish they could figure out a way of making comp more CONSISTENTLY enjoyable. Aaannnndddd....You bust your hump for crucible pinnacle weapons only to get power washed by blue weapons. The. Hell. Grrrr I’m getting all worked up just thinking about it. I wish I could stop playing this game forever.

I feel your pain. I'm an old guy 53, my halcyon days were Quake, Quake 2 tourney, Quake 3 2v2 tdm/Rocket Arena (that stole so many hours it wasnt funny), and pre source CS, I'm slow, old and broken but I still enjoy PvP but I have accepted that for the most part I'm going to get humped and keeping @ 1.5 KA/D is the best I can hope for. I have to be honest I've not tried trials, I was waiting for the rush then I was going to step in, in vanilla I played trials but never made it to the lighthouse, wasn't good enough, and I would rather go without then be carried, everything in this game I have, I earned myself, so if I cant get to the lighthouse so be it, but I'll try it for some loot but obviously the situation has just turned me off so I wont be doing it any time soon. The problem is Bungie are now in an anti-cheat arms race they cant win, not without serious investment, something that has never happened before and probably wont in the future. Most of the cheats are just doing it for cash, paid carries, some because they like to ruin other peoples enjoyment, some will probably try them because they are sick and want to give a little pay back, either way the damage is done. I honestly can't see a way back for them, worse still you have the clever cheats, the ones who are good but use the hacks just when they need to, clutch moments to tip the scales in their favour, these are the worst because they are hard to spot and catch unless you have serious anti-cheat, to this day I've never encountered a really solid and reliable one. From a personal perspective I played Q3 2v2 tdm with a guy for almost a year in the Barrysworld league who after it became the standard used the Orange Smoothie mod, I can't remember if it was the Orange Smoothie dev team or an anti cheat they used by another dev but they deployed an update with updated anti-cheat without informing the community about the anti-cjeat part, they caught a lot of people, some very well known people, including my partner, I fought his corner hard, he was my friend and long time playing partner, he didn't cheat I knew it for certain, I was wrong, he admitted to using it but only according to him when he used the rail gun, anyone who knows Q3 knows the railgun was almost always a 1 hit kill unless you were maxxed health and armour, and then it was a 2 hit. My point is this type of player will probably slip through the net, and back then anti-cheat was in my opinion way better than it is now, also some people will refuse to believe that other proven cheats are guilty, it was the same back then and will be the same now, the hole has been dug and it's f*cking deep, and getting deeper day by day and Bungie are going to struggle to fill quicker than the hack devs can dig it. I only hope is that I will be proved wrong, I would love to come back here and eat humble pie, I really would, but does anyone honestly believe that will be the case?

There's bounties to grind. Yeah, I know.[/quote] I started playing pvp centric games like OW, Apex and TF2 and sometimes FN. The absence of p2p and server based gaming (on console not PC) is just a more enjoyable experience. Also, Destiny can be good if you take out lag. I got good experience on Stadia with almost zero lag but matchmaking takes too long maybe due to lower player count (it's a relatively new platform). No lag and I get steady play with same guns and average out better than console. PC is a cheat feast but its same for almost every shooter game I play on PC so don't even bother with it anymore. Destiny was good but Bungie ruined it by cutting corners.

Trying to get lunas at its all I can do to not run into three asshats all running Mountaintop in competitive. How the -blam!- do you even counter that? That and getting doomed to lose glory anytime someone quits at the beginning of a match is also a blast. I’m considering just going for lunas howl at this point and forgetting about not forgotten. It’s not worth the white hair and being more frustrated with this game than I already am.
