Heroic menagerie should have matchmaking
The activity is no longer as difficult as when it launched so there is no real reason for there not to have matchmaking for this activity. There are a handful of times where I ran heroic and I got booted right before opening the final chest. Other times the fireteam leader may quickly return to orbit without everyone getting loot. While this happens rarely, it is very frustrating nevertheless.

Don't you know? To do something very simple like this would take a team of 50 guys working 12 hour shifts for a whole month and cost Bungie close to a million bucks. Then it would create about 120 new bugs and glitches. The game would never recover. Lol

One of the reasons power creep is a good thing is that it increases replayability... As time goes on we would get stronger making content like this more accessible isn't that why we have power levels... The good players alway hit max level first and always have the best gear first but that's OK cus the rest of us catch up with power creep... But in D2 that is not the case, instead the best gear and max power is locked off to top players and people with friends.

They should have an option to matchmake with pretty much every event except for the highest tier, like a Grandmaster nightFall and or Raids everything else should have have an option with credentials you have meet before joining as a solo player.

Honestly, why not have matchmaking for every activity? If people want to try their hand at something with a PUG, why not? Give an ETA like other MMO’s do.

Everything should have matchmaking except “heroic” raids and trials. The game should also provide an in game player team maker where players can create their own team without the use of the destiny app. That way players can still play the heroic raids and trials without having to go through the trouble of the inconsistent app, we are in 2020, at this point every multiplayer game has a feature that allows you to create your own teams.

I think there should be built-in matchmaking for [i]every[/i] activity as well. The LFG tool is just a more inconvenient version of matchmaking that requires going outside the game to manually look for a group and try to join, with the end result being joining a group of complete strangers to do the activity. Having optional, built-in matchmaking for everything in the game achieves the exact same end result without all the hassle. Just make it optional and throw in a light-level requirement based on the difficulty or complexity of the activity.

Absolutely everything in this game should have the option to be match made. There's absolutely no reason not to. The only people arguing against this are elitist nobs who don't want other people achieving things. Can a single person give me a single good reason why every activity shouldn't have optional matchmaking?

As long as it's clear that using matchmaking for some activities is likely to result in suboptimal gaming. You make a choice and you get bunched with a wayward group no complaining if you get a good result every body benefits.

There should be optional matchmaking for everything. People that want to use it just need to enable it. This would open up some activities to more people. People that want to use their own fireteams leave it switched off, continue as they were and are unaffected. -
Along with every other activity including raids. Lets face it theres zero real reasons to not have matchmaking. Other than to keep pretending that this is a friendly community.

I think that goes for a few other activities like higher end nightfalls. And also activities like blind well and escalation protocol should have matchmaking too.
