Watched a video by Fallout Plays today on YouTube. It was shocking to be honest. Over and over and over....the cheating. Players not even caring, just flying across the map to the other spawn. Then they did some hack that would kill the whole team at one time. Some hackers didn't even move from their own spawn and would kill the whole other team. I'm just happy that the game is now "watchable."

And they go completely undetected by Bungies anti cheat. We all can’t go around blaming every loss on cheats, and let’s be honest, we all want to do it sometimes, but the very real fact is that people are using these cheats regularly to gain an edge and it’s mostly not shit like flying through the air or god mode.

1 RespuestaThere are cheaters in pretty much every match in quickplay now. Sometimes even fireteams of cheaters. Looks like bungie does not care.

Bungie's anti-cheat are the players reporting it! All Bungie does is review the reports and look how long that takes for anything to happen to the cheater. Legit anti-cheat systems can detect foreign code being injected that forces the game to act outside normal parameters. There is obviously no such system in place here.

There was an interesting video on YouTube regarding cheat programs for Destiny and how they are almost impossible to detect due to Destiny’s currently used software. As it stands you can only report a cheater and hope that the guy living in the closet at the end of the dark corridor at bungie finally gets around to a manual review.

Actually it isn't dog shit, the reason you ask? Well it doesn't have anti-cheat ergo it cannot be dog shit, all it has is a pointless reporting system. When you have players blatantly cheating called "cheater" and players with young accounts with VAC bans, and in some cases multiple VAC bans it's not hard to see that they don't have anti-cheat in any form. I've said it before and I'll say it again, if there was a way to monetise anti-cheat it would disappear in a heartbeat. Reliable anti-cheat? There's a mtx everyone could get behind. :D

I play on console, hardly ever see it. Trials dying here, with very limited cheating. Cheating is a bottom of list issue for console.
