Lunas Howl and other pinnacle weapons.
Being that Luna's and various other pinnacle weapons are nerfed, why put players through a hellacious grind then? A lot of what turns players away lately is the ends don't justify the means. I mean, 1% for every 2 - 4 kills and for what? For a weapon that is SUPPOSE to be top tier but is no better than say, Service Revolver? So auto rifles got a buff, so what's the pinnacle auto rifle then? Exactly! So a de-buffed "pinnacle weapon" a player has to go through hell and high water, if you're a beginner to moderate player, but any joe schmoe can get a buffed hard light or suros right out the collections? Make this make sense, Bungie. How about debuffs on the quests for these "pinnacle weapons" or give them their buff back to make the grind worth it

3 RespuestasWhat's really shit is that they will be useless for anything except normal PvP modes soon. Lunas is one of the only good HCs for controller users.

5 RespuestasI got the Redrix a couple of seasons ago..... went thru all the grind and now don't use it and whats more no one else does either. But thats how Bungie rolls.

9 RespuestasIf all pinnacles were reverted to how they used to be, they really wouldn’t change the meta much. The ttk of lunas howl was .67 which is only .3 faster than hard light. Suros has a ttk of .43 when fully spun up which is even faster than recluse was with master of arms at .53-7? Pinnacles right now legit would be just fine because of the current meta. Nerfing them was a terrible mistake and they should get reverted, we also have spare rations at the exact same ttk as pre lunas at .67 with an aim assist of 90.

11 RespuestasThey’re not gonna need the quest just cuz you’re too dog shit to -blam!-ing get it, they already needed the gun that u got in season 5 which is NF so if they need the quest for any idiot such as your self tiger it I’m deleting the game, get better the game work on your aim and maybe you’ll get the hang of it, it’s not supposed to be dumbed down to your level it’s a competitive quest line for a really good HC so stfu and get it together or don’t play the game

Or just don't worry about them. I guarentee you....in a few months....those pinnacle weapons are going to be the first weapons that Bungie retires from the game. To get them out of people's hands and off the power pyramid. I would say---at this point----the weapons simply aren't worth the grind anymore. If you want to spend that much time in comp just to get the weapons for you collection. Or to work on getting better at PVP (I became a MUCH better player during my Luna grind.) then fine. But strictly as loot items? Not worth it at this point. They are still very good weapons. Near best-in-slot. But the Comp based quest weapons just aren't worth it....and I think Bungie did that intentionally to bring some build diversity back to both PVE and PVP.

13 Respuestasluna's howl and not forgotten arent even at pinnacle lvl anymore, they dont do anything special at all they kill in same time as any other 150 rate, better off just removing em from game completely since they arent special nor worth the grind anymore lol

1 RespuestaThey should have never discontinued pinnacles. So what if they're strong? If you put in the grind you deserve to have a strong weapon. Not only that, they were unique. Far more unique the the crap they've been recycling and rehashing to us then have the gaul to call it "content"

Back in the day, many people complained on how hard it was to get Luna's howl, now I hardly ever see people complain because it's easy. I even solo queue to not forgotten.
