There any word on if there will be more permanent ways to gather it other than weekly bounties? Or an increase in the amount in we get from the replay able bounties? Plus, why can't the IB bounties give dust?

1 RespuestaEditado por Demon_XXVII: 4/6/2020 5:21:07 AMThey might as well take Bright Dust out The 100 that’s rewarded for reaching high 90’s on the previous Season Pass was insulting in itself Now they give 400 spread over 4 stages in this season ...(then massively bumped up the cost of anything that’s available for Bright Dust) Bungie just want cash (Silver) for cosmetics...well they can swivel!
-
1 RespuestaBungie: Yes, we will be going over the new changes in the next TWAB TWAB: You asked for more ways to earn bright dust. We delivered! Bright dust is now purchasable from Eververse for silver!
-
1 Respuestai like having to do 300 bounties to get an emote man
-
Theyve been phasing it out for a long time now. They also stopped giving current season items from engrams so that when they eventually remove bright dust youre already conditioned for not getting current eververse gear without paying for it.
-
6 RespuestasPersonally I feel like it's easier to get bright dust than before. The problem is for some reason people need everything. How many ghosts do you need with guiding light. How many sparrows with increased spawn times. Or don't buy ornaments for items and guns you never use.

4 RespuestasBright dust smuggled through untraced tangled shore shipments; snows at the Tower.

1 RespuestaWhy would bungie give you ways to earn a currency that stops you from spending real money?
-
See cloudkiller’s comment below. Exactly bungie’s intention.
-
Yeah spend real money. Problem solved your welcom.

I’ve started to use the site below to organise what I buy. With the 3,600 dust available per week I should be able to get most of what I want (unless I hit burnout again like the last couple of seasons). https://www.todayindestiny.com/eververseWeekly -
6 RespuestasEditado por NVMYGT: 4/7/2020 1:52:48 AMWhere did my bright dust go? Let's start with the Tributes. Had 180,000 dust when those came out. Bought everything with a whopping 4% discount because I couldn't wait. Next, when you get a sparrow that doesn't roll with fast summoning, so you dismantle and take another out of collections... 18 sparrows later and finally RNG gives fast summoning. Then, ships, sparrows, ghosts, armor, solstice glows. Now I'm broke. 1200 dust remains. EDIT: I'm not blaming anyone for how I spent my bright dust, I made decisions. I do blame Bungie for their greed, they took away my main source of bright dust, 100-500 dust every time I deleted a duplicate ship, sparrow, or ghost. That is gone now.

3600 per week is pretty good to me.
-
6 RespuestasWhy would they do that when theyre trying to get you to buy stuff with silver?
-
2 RespuestasYes they will get to that right after they fix trials...
-
Doubt it, they made it harder to get bright dust due to free to play, prob in hopes that players who come in from free to play would be more likely to spend the money in Eververse.
-
Yeah I’ve been trying to shine this topic upon them for some time but it’s being kept under the table for some reason. I’ve been saying to receive more reward drops from Luminous engrams since we do have a limit of them from the season pass and considering we have shader/effect copies still dropping as rewards even after acquiring them once when we can simply just buy them off collections. I also seen you can’t buy bright dust for silver so there’s really no other (non-boring) way to get bright dust besides doing excessive repeatable bounties or waiting for a specific event to come.

3 RespuestasBuy additional bounties to earn Bright Dust. My inventory has had 120K - 140K for the past two years.

2 RespuestasStill got 100k me

Its probably right where they want it. Lets say that we as a community werent earning enough free dust, then they might add new spots to earn more, but if we are earning enough free dust, then things probably wont change.
-
22 RespuestasI don't understand how this is even a concern, I've got 35,000 dust, never spend any of it because there's literally never anything I want for sale for dust.
-
4 RespuestasIf you look at it, it’s designed simply: You can get 3600 a week through the weekly bounties from Shaq, Vuvuzela, and Drifty on three characters. Usually this means they’re gonna sell ~ 3800 worth of bright dust in ornaments. Delay between weeks to give a catch-up, but that’s about it. I maintain around 30,000 through the season but it is a bit bothersome when some weeks I end up spending over 12,000 dust in a week. The week of that was when they sold the ornaments for almost everything the season had to offer.

1 RespuestaJust buy silver. It's cheap.
-
I've 170k that are going spare...
-
my guess is they hope you'll spend it all and have to buy stuff with real money
-
The change in dust was clearly to drive more silver sales and increase play time, we use to earn it by just playing and dismantling.
